Nestled on our private 154-acre family estate in the rolling countryside of West Tennessee, The Barntique at Glendale Lake is a beautifully appointed guest cottage created for those seeking rest, relaxation, and a genuine connection with nature. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, planning a romantic getaway, or simply craving a peaceful retreat, this is your place to slow down and recharge.

Wake each morning with a cup of coffee as the sun rises over Glendale Lake, then spend your day exploring private walking trails, paddling across calm waters in one of our complimentary kayaks, or enjoying catch-and-release fishing from the private dock. Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully designed cottage that combines comfort with modern conveniences. The spacious one-bedroom retreat comfortably accommodates up to four guests and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay.

A Note About Our Property:
The Barntique is located on our family’s private estate, where we also make our home. Our residence is approximately one-quarter mile from the guest cottage, allowing guests to enjoy a peaceful and secluded stay while also respecting that this is our personal home and property.

To ensure everyone enjoys the tranquility of the estate, we simply ask that guests remain within the designated guest areas, trails, lake, and recreation spaces provided for their enjoyment. We value your privacy during your stay and appreciate your respect for ours in return.

One of our favorite traditions is watching the sun melt into the lake each evening. We invite you to sit back, breathe deeply, and experience the quiet beauty that first made our family fall in love with this special place.

While you’ll feel worlds away from the hustle and bustle, you’re still just minutes from the charm of Henderson, Tennessee, where you’ll find local restaurants, coffee shops, antique stores, and Southern hospitality.

At The Barntique, we believe the best vacations aren’t filled with schedules—they’re filled with moments. A quiet paddle across the lake. A walk beneath the trees. A fish released back into the water. A sunset shared with someone you love.

Please Note:

We do welcome RV's and have hook ups. RV cost is $20 per day in addition to cottage rental. We do not supply hoses guests must have their own. Guest must request upon reservation and a separate post-booking charge will apply.

No commercial activity is allowed on this property. No local renters allowed. No refund for exhausted supplies or amenities or loss of utilities including wifi beyond owners control during your stay. These things are offered as a courtesy. No personal mail or deliveries may be sent to this address or location. We can provide directions upon request to locations to the local USPS, UPS, FedEx and Amazon Lockers.

There is additional charge for any smoking violation of $1000. No glitter, confetti or firecrackers allowed. Additional cleaning fees will apply. Any stay past 7 days requires an extra cleaning fee for pest control and maintenance purposes.

If the lake waterline is low due to lack of rainfall and not safe during any booking there is no refund. Safety takes precedence. All water activity will cease until waterline is at a safe level.

House Rules apply to all guests. All guest will be emailed via Adobe sign within 24 hours after booking. We require all documentation to be signed and returned within 48 hours after booking and acceptance of reservation. No exceptions. We also require a photo copy of the main guests drivers license or passport for verification and safety.
