"Perfect peaceful stay, good location for access to villages and town. Very good value for money compared to most local stay overs."

"Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! "

"I loved staying here! The cottage is private, peaceful, very spacious by London standards, and the bed was very comfortable. It's only a 15 minute walk to the Tube station for the Picadilly, Hammersmith, District, and Circle lines, that will get you anywhere you need to go, including directly to/from Heathrow. Only a couple of minutes walk to the Thames Path, and Barnes Village is super cute, and very quiet for being so close to Central London. I spent a week there and found it to be perfect for...

"We had an amazing stay at the Old Wharf Cottage in Windsor. The home is amazing and a wonderful location. We loved having the pool, bbq and area for croquet. It was easy to get around town with our rental car or Uber. The hosts were great and easy to connect with as needed. This was one of the key highlights of our two weeks in the UK. We recommend to others and hopefully will be able to return in the years to come. Kelley and Tenaja Lynch"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. Was a bit cramped with a family, but had easy access to Windsor. We utilized the kitchen to cook which was a nice amenity. We also packed light, so the washer was utilized as well. It was advertised that there was a dryer as well, but we could not see a way to dry the clothes and found it was just a washer, not a washer/dryer combo. There were no directions or contact info in the book, which would have been helpful. It was a great stay overall...

"Oldie worldie country cottage. Comfotable beds and plenty of towels and other toiletries etc. Everything you needed was there. Wifi and TV good reception. Lovely exterior view over field with horses, deer and plenty of birdlife. If you have more than one car parking may be an issue."

Our only complaint is that a hot tub was advertised but was non existent which was a huge misrepresentation by Vrbo on the property details. It was one of the considerations when we booked the property We have requested an explanation from Vrbo but so far nothing is forthcoming (22.5.24)"

Everything was provided - towels, shampoo, shower gel, bread, butter, milk etc. couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely stay again.
