Myrtle is a beautiful, warm, comfortable thatched cottage dating back over 250 years. The semi detached cottage has beamed ceilings. There is ample parking for cars and a boat if needed with secure storage for bikes or kayaks. The cottage has its own delightful private garden with barbecue area and pagoda. It is furnished with a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture whilst retaining its period charm. It boasts uninterrupted countryside views from the rear with magical sunrises.

What a lovely place to stay, full of character & charm, fully equipped with everything you need, great countryside location, 30 min walk to Helford, 20 min drive to Helston.Maurice & Barbara are great host's, many thanks, see you again soon

We really couldn't fault Myrtle Cottage. Beautiful location, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful owners and very well equipped kitchen. We also really appreciated all the little extras from the freshly laid eggs, milk and butter in the fridge, cake and fresh flowers. Thank you Maurice and Barbara. It was really hard to leave!

Wir lieben Myrtle Cottage! Ein wunderschönes gemütliches Cottage mitten in der Natur und super gelegen, um das atemberaubend schöne Cornwall zu entdecken!!!! Maurice und Barbara haben uns so herzlich empfangen und sind ganz besonders tolle Gastgeber! Vielen Dank für all die Leckereien aus dem Garten, die frischen Blumen in jedem Zimmer und den super guten Kuchen!!!!

We really loved Myrtle Cottage which was comfortable with loads of country character. Our hosts went the extra mile to make us feel truly welcome. The area has so many wonderful places to explore, that a week isn’t long enough. I hope to be back at Myrtle Cottage soon.

We had a wonderful week in Myrtle Cottage. Maurice and Barbara were great hosts. Gave us some good local advice on places to go. They were very friendly and hospitable. The cottage was ideally situated for exploring the Lizard Peninsula. We would highly recommend and would love to return.

The cottage was just right for us and the garden a bonus - we were lucky with the weather. Wonderful hosts who were interesting to talk to and easily contactable if needed. We were delighted to find lots of free range eggs and tomatoes left for us when we arrived plus a delicious cake. We enjoyed meeting the happy looking hens and seeing where the produce was grown. Loved our stay the cottage, the garden, enjoyed the cows over the garden wall and chickens too, it was lovely to “BE” in the countryside of Cornwall. Close enough to get to many beautiful places if wanted to leave the peacefulness of the cottage garden. The hosts were really special people who were willing to share their “Good Life” with us - including buckets and spades. Rooms were spacious all lovely, some lovely nooks and crannies and interesting books to look at too - time allowing. We will definitely be going back to enjoy more freshly grown tomatoes, cucumber, delicious blackcurrant jam and chocolate cup cakes - oh and fresh eggs from the 6 girls (chickens).
