Swann's View - Remodeled cabin with amazing mountain views!

The cabin has undergone a complete renovation. We have pretty much gutted the interior and redone the plumbing, wiring, air conditioning, kitchen, floors, ceilings, lights, and decks. We kept the rustic feel with wood walls and flooring, but the cabin now offers all the amenities of home including wifi, smart TVs, a gas fireplace, and a modern kitchen.

View was amazing. Hot tub was perfect temperature and ready to use. A little bit of a learning curve using the outdoor fireplace however the owner communicated with us and got us all set. Overall, we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend!

The views were great of the mountain, this was me and my girlfriends first trip together and we had a great time. The grills were very nice we cooked out both nights, and the hot tub was a great addition.

Nestled close to Helen but far and secluded enough that you forget the crowds. This cabin is immaculate. From the amenities and decor, to the welcoming hosts and the gorgeous view ... This is what every rental should strive to be.

We had a fabulous stay in the cabin. It had everything we needed. The cabin was very cozy and peaceful. The location was perfect with great views of the mountains. It was so relaxing sitting on the porch by the firepit. I highly recommend this cabin and would definitely stay again.

Great Views, Hot Tub was great, Bed was comfortable. The watch outs--- we like to prepare our meals vs. going out. The kitchen, although well equiped, had extremely dim lighting, and no light on microwave above the stove. WE used a lamp in order to see while cooking. Maybe a just fired this place up for winter- but, fireplace said available starting october- owner advised us that maybe someone might come over, but that didn't happen. Not a big deal, but the Mini split on the main floor didn't work, and although there was communication back and forth on text, and a request that I call them- and a reset via wifi I am assuming. The downstairs unit never worked, so we used 2 small space heaters, that were meh. We were out most of the time doing things, but would have been nice to come back to something warm- I wasn't leaving space heaters on while we were gone or sleeping. You will be asked to bring your towels down and put in wash and start, along with the bedding- there is also a cleaning fee. Just be aware. Otherwise- it was overall a nice stay, but would be nice if all of these things would have been checked or some more attention to detail prior to our stay.

The outdoor patio was very nice and we enjoyed grilling out and eating our dinner while being able to enjoy the outdoors or catch up on a show. The location was far enough away from the other cabins on this road that you absolutely felt like you had privacy and the road was very comfortable and safe to walk our dog, even on a holiday weekend! We had a great time on our little min-vacation! Thank you!

We spent a weekend at this cabin and honestly didn’t want to leave. Tucked away with a beautiful view of the mountains, it was the perfect spot to unwind and spend time as a family. Check in was easy and Scott was an attentive host quickly answering any questions we had.

Beautiful view & romantic atmosphere!

This was our first time using any sort of “rent by owner” and it was a lot more pleasant than I expected! My husband and I came to celebrate our 9 year wedding anniversary - first little getaway without the kids in a long time. It was extremely private and quiet. The cabin was clean and perfect for just the two of us! The views from the balcony and the kitchen were amazing! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and gazing at the stars - tons of lightning bugs were out and it made the experience even better! Very easy to connect our Roku app to the tv outside to have it playing in the background. We didn’t have any issues. Definitely would rent again!

Small, quiet cabin w/hot tub for 2!

The cottage is small, but perfect for a couple days in a quiet, intimate setting. Owners are great and responsive for anything needed (i.e., the door keypad ran out of batteries so they let us in remotely). Beautiful views from the property and a 15 minute drive from everything needed. The only downside is that there is no door on the de k side that has the hot tub and fireplace entertainment area, but its a short walk around the cottage.

Great view from hot tub!

The house was incredibly clean upon arrival- possibly one of the cleanest vacation rentals I've seen. The kitchen is large and supplied with everything you need! We enjoyed the fire table, hot tub, and sitting on the porch in general. The fireplace is super easy to use and lovely as well!

Cozy and comfortable cabin. Private with a beautiful mountain view

We enjoyed relaxing in the cabin as much or more than going to the local waterfalls. The location is private but not secluded. It is a convenient location for sightseeing and shopping. We didn’t eat at any restaurants, but they were about 15-20 minutes away. I highly recommend this property. The host was very responsive to our needs, and he quickly resolved our check-in issues. I gave the cleanliness 4 stars because we had to wash the sheets when we got there. There was a fair amount of pet hair on them. We could tell they were already washed, but I know how pet hair can stick to fabric. This was not a big deal to us as it was easily remedied. I recommend taking some dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent tabs depending on your stay and needs. The two provided for our 2 days was sufficient for us despite using one on the sheets. Rationing supplies seems appropriate in a way, but this is not something I have experienced in a VRBO or its competitor. Otherwise, it felt like home, and I would book it again.

Amazing view

When I searched for a getaway, my number one criterion was an amazing view of the mountains. This wonderful cabin absolutely delivered on that requirement. You will be treated to a spectacular view of towering mountains. I timed my visit with the fall leaf color change and got to see all the reds, oranges, and yellows that define the season. Highly recommend!

Spectacular Views

Beautiful cabin. Cabin was very clean and hosts stocked necessities even soap and shampoo and coffee. Pictures do not do the mountain view justice. Absolutely perfect except for the extremely slow internet/wifi. DSL internet and unreliable at best. Cabin set up with Alexa features that can't be utilized consistently because of internet as well as streaming television. Would rent again if I were able or wanted to totally unplug. Hopefully an upgrade is possible for a stay next year.

Heavenly view from a clean, updated, well maintained cabin

Perfect place to stay for a mountain getaway. I wanted to stay within a 20 minute drive of Anna Ruby Falls, which are stunning. The cabin was a perfect retreat with an amazing view.

A very nice 1 bedroom cabin. Perfect size for a couple to get away. Great views from porch and kitchen! The kitchen was stocked better than any place I have stayed. Nice location and easy to get to.
