Honey Bear Hideaway spacious private intown pets

Honey Bear Hideaway is perfect for your Helen/No GA mnts vacation. This spacious cabin has 4 bd & 4, large eat in kitchen, big livingroom, treehouse room ( because of the view) and it even sports its own bar downstairs! Covered patio, back and front decks, plus a fire ring. Less then 1/2 a mile to main street all the town amenties are readily available. This very private cabin makes you feel like you're in the wilderness but is in town. Pets? Usually yes, tell me about yours and we'll talk.

The space
Kitchen is fully equipped, all you need to bring is your food. Washer and dryer are on lower level for your use. Towels and linens are provided. We start you off with 1 roll of paper towels and a roll of toilet paper in every bathroom. Iron and ironing board. The cabin has TV's with roku in the master bedroom, living room and bar. The treehouse room is a favorite. The large glass side windows are a wonderful place to sit and watch the wild life explore outside the window. In addition to squirrels and birds you might see deer or wild turkeys to name just a few of our visitors.

Brigette was awesome! We got snowed in but she was available to answer our questions and worked with us on our departure. House was wonderful for us as we were coming from 2 different locations to spend time with family we dont often get to see. Thank you so much for the house and the hospitality.

Place was nice and roomy. Not too far from downtown but wouldn’t recommend walking. It was clean but could use a good deep clean inside and out. The mini split in the “treehouse “ room took a good while to start working and warm the room. Overall it was a nice place and good pick. Definitely would stay here again.

loved the house but it was filthy. There are cobwebs in every room. The oven smoked so bad we could not use it. We bought batteries for the fireplace remote but still could not get the fireplace to light. We replaced 2 lightbulbs. The first floor bathroom was turning black. We needed to clean all bathrooms and although the floors were swept we had to mop all of them when the bottoms of our socks turned black.Palmetto bugs in the kitchen and on the bed upstairs. Nice place, great location but the managing company should be replaced.

This was our second time to stay here, and it was just as great this year as last year. I love that there is so much room to spread out. Everything was so clean and inviting. We were even able to walk into town...although coming back up the hill can be a little challenging.

My wife and I stayed at this cabin to celebrate our anniversary, and it was the perfect getaway. The location in Helen was beautiful and peaceful—just what we needed to relax and reconnect. The location felt very secluded but was very close to town. The cabin was fully furnished with everything we could possibly think of, making our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend this property to anyone vacationing in the Helen area. It truly exceeded our expectations.

We had a lovely time at Honey Bear Hideaway, the location is excellent for tourists. We enjoyed the home immensely was nice, big, and best of all we were able to travel with our Huskies. This was just what we needed for a relaxing vacation.

Enjoyed the area but not impressed with the place we stayed at. Overgrowth prevented us from enjoying the area. The whole outside area was uninviting especially the seating that needed a good Clorox cleaning LOTS of cobwebs! Beds were propped up with books! We have been vacationing in this area for over 30 years now and have definitely been to better places.

Helen in April is wonderful!

Coming from the north, Helen was green and beautiful in April. The house was perfect with two living areas, a downstairs bar with game room and 4 beds and baths. we cooked in a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plus, Helen is such a great town to visit before it gets crowded int he summer.

Cozy cabin with lots of character

This cabin was great for our short stay in Helen. We were traveling with small kids so I wouldn’t say it was quite in walking distance to the downtown area, but definitely a super short drive. The beds are all really really comfortable!!

Weekend away

We are a group of guys that have been camping together for over 20 years. We know each other’s family and spouses know it is a time for the guys to get away. That being said, we have started renting cabins the last 5 years as none of us are getting younger. This cabin is hands-down the best location we have found. It is really pretty and had enough room for all of us. It is also extremely close to Helen, in case you forgot something. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to rent a beautiful place in Helen, Georgia.

Awesome place to stay, loved the bar downstairs. Plenty of room for a big family if needed. Very close drive to downtown Helen. Slightly out of walking distance for myself. Overall great experience.
