"I stayed in Heidelberg for 6 days and this is a perfect location in between tourist and local areas. Easy to access via tram/train/bus, and supermarkets and restaurants are all within walking distance. The room is in classic homey design, clean and well equipped with basic cooking equipment, also a floor fan is provided.
The check-in instructions are very clear and easy, and I’m always greeted by friendly staff time to time."

"Very disappointing check-in experience. We received no access code or clear self-check-in instructions before arrival and were left outside for almost an hour with our young child. We repeatedly called and messaged the property via WhatsApp, but received no response. Even Expedia tried to contact the property for us.
When someone finally answered, instead of apologising or helping calmly, he blamed me for not providing an exact arrival time and spoke to me in a very rude and confrontational...

"We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 boys ages 15 and 13) and we stayed 2 nights in the BoardingWorld Heidelberg in July 2026. Our stay was mixed good/bad. Let's start with the good: Heidelberg is charming and BoardingWorld is well located, with main attractions within walking distance. The room felt fairly spacious and comfortable and the building had charm. We had a shared balcony overlooking a pleasant backyard. The wifi worked well, the room had a kitchenette, and parking on the street...

"Very bright, clean, and comfortable space. Marius was responsive and helpful when we had a question. It was a quick 10 minute ride into Heidelberg on the tram which comes every 20 minutes. You walk through the host's home on the main level to get to the upstairs and downstairs spaces, but they are very pleasant people. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Thank you Marius!"
