This hotel is shut down and we were never notified. We were put in a real bind when we showed up with a reservation the night before the eclipse.

When we arrived, the hotel was closed. In fact all the furniture, beds, and appliance were in the parking lot. No one was there and a sign in the window said "CLOSED". I called 501-588-1986, the number you listed for OYO and they know nothing about the hotel or its closure. There were 7 other person at this hotel with similar experiences with OYO. Get OYO off your website. I called their "customer service" today. They said they could do nothing about it because I looked through EXPEDIA. OYO said to call Expedia and then OYO representative hung up the phone. Its a Chines company ripping of Americans If OYO remains on your bwesite, I will never book on your again.

This property is not a motel any more it is being renovated and has been under construction for months according to the builder on site. We received an email confirming our reservation this afternoon, yet when we arrived the sign on the door stated this is no longer a motel. Pathetic vetting by Expedia after paying our deposit. Will Expedia do any about this?

RIP OFF. Beware

The hotel took my reservation and my money, but after spending 7 hours driving to Heber Springs and to the OYO hotel location, the hotel was closed and nobody would answer the phone. Fortunately i was able to get a room at the hotel down the street but this could have been a huge problem if other hotels had no vacancy. OYO owes me a refund and needs to quit taking reservations on line if the hotel is no longer in existence.

Nightmare!!!

I did not even stay at this property. The parking lot was littered with many broken appliances and trash. The windows on every room were taped completely up. It was a scary place. And also no hotel staff was anywhere to be found, the office was locked and the phone was busy every time I tried to call. Very frustrating experience.

Did not stay. Room was supposed to be non smoking but had a strong odor of smoke . There was a commode sitting on the sidewalk by the room. Checked in looked around checked out and left. Didn't ask for refund but should have. Did not feel safe no chain on inside of door. Sketchy surroundings. Property very run down.

We came to the lake for the day. Swimming, hanging out got a room for the night due to drive was a long way back. Room was fine and clean. Service was questioning need for additional blankets due to being cold. I didn’t like that and need breakfast to be included.

Very disappointed

The pictures on line do NOT represent the property condition. Managers were polite. Very bad lobby appearance. Horrible smell of stale smoke. Cluttered junky behind lobby. Door eats covered with several different patterns of curtains. Didn’t tell me where ice was. My husband saw a woman come out of a room with only panties on when I was in the office. It appears that people might live there. The air conditioner cooled after we figured out the settings. The knobs were loose and turned around and around loosely. Property was ragged. Grass and etc not cut/trimmed. Pool run down and empty.

We stayed here several months ago and it was nice. The room we hot this time is awful. Tub won’t drain. Hair dryer fell off the wall and doesn’t work anyway. Phone doesn’t work. No one will answer my cell phone . No one answers the bell at the office when I went over to ask for a new hair dryer. What a mess.

The good and the bad

Chose Hotel based off pictures which were very misleading hotel was conveniently located near the lake. However, next time will pay a little more to simply drive one more mile and have a much nicer hotel. Was uncomfortable leaving truck and boat parked outside felt like we would be robbed. Lighting was on timers which were out of sync with when dark would hit. They advertise fire extinguishers, lol in the rooms, which they were not had one outside my hotel room, which hasn’t been serviced in five years. Upon entering hotel room found the smoke detector to have tape over it removed tape pulled down smoke detector to find it disconnected and no battery one door down from a smoking apartment major fire safety for me. Betting was horrible. It was literally a dirty old mattress stacked on top of another dirty old mattress kids loved it though it was super trampoline fun. The staff being foreigners initially did not seem overly friendly, but were very helpful. Did find it neat. They had a ceiling fan in the room whoever does their air conditioners is definitely being paid well for the amount of gaps around the AC unit and doors. We were losing a lot of the cool air however, room stayed perfectly comfortable. Lastly, the commode Ghost flushing as I call it ended up taking the lid off noticed the chain was installed incorrectly and flush valve was adjusted wrong repaired it myself instead of annoying the staff who I believe would’ve promptly repaired it.

The guy at front desk was very nice and helpful. He got us a remote for our TV. Called us at 10am on check out day to remind us checkout was at 11. I guess in case we overslept. Much appreciated.

They are in the middle of a renovation, they had all kinds of people there. Folks fighting, smoking drugs outside our room from next door. The door was barely closing coming apart and the bathroom had ashes in the tub and pee in the toilet. We stayed maybe 2 hrs and packed up and left. We spent all we had to get away for what was supposed to be peace and quiet and clean. We wanted a refund but it was no refundable. I want a refund. It was the worse experience we’ve ever had
