Fabulous Family Lake House on Eden Isle

  • Our Fabulous Family Lake House is located on Eden Isle, a 400 acre resort just outside of Heber Springs, Arkansas. Eden Isle is surrounded by Greers Ferry Lake. Our home is close to (.5 mile) Eden Isle Marina and a short (2 minute) drive from the Red Apple Inn & Country Club. It includes a romantic (gas log) fireplace, a large gazebo with a big screen outdoor theater set up for "movie nights", a cascading koi pond, and beautiful grounds that are drawn indoors by our home's extensive windows.

    Our home sits on a large landscaped lot with plenty of outdoor rooms for enjoyment. Outdoors, we enjoy watching movies on the large screen of our Gazebo, and early mornings with coffee or tea by the cascading water fountain. Or fountain includes a group of koi and happy goldfish. Feeding them is a regular treat for us. Greer's Ferry Lake surrounds Eden Isle. Eden Isle's marina is a convenient walk from our home. The Red Apple Inn and Country Club are added amenities that no one should miss. The Red Apple Inn's holiday buffets are legendary and its championship golf course is part of Arkansas' "Golf Trail." Heber Springs (4 miles away) is a charming town with compelling attractions like Sugarloaf Mountain, the Ellen Hobgood Gallery, Aromatique, Ozark Country Market, Ruland Toy Train Museum, Greers Ferry Dam, a trout hatchery, JFK Park, the Little Red River and much, much more.

    We have a great team that assists us with property management. If a problem arises we will respond quickly.

    Eden Isle is a 400 acre vacation resort surrounded by Greers Ferry Lake. Our home is close to Eden Isle Marina and the Red Apple Inn and Country Club. The Red Apple Inn and Country Club offers a championship golf course, tennis and a great restaurant with one of the most beautiful views in Arkansas.

    We enjoy watching deer roam through our back yard and rear easement. Bluebirds, hummingbirds, woodpeckers and cardinals also regularly visit. Eden Isle Marina (where our boat is docked) offers nightly slip rentals, boat rentals and lake toy rentals.

    We have garage parking for one vehicle (our golf cart takes up the other space). On Eden Isle almost every amenity is walkable, but your arrival and departure will require a vehicle. Our driveway has significant additional parking available for up to five (5) vehicles.
    Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property (inside or outside). Violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of stay.

Solitude Delight

This home is PERFECT for a quiet rest with several beautiful, comfortable places to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The guys enjoyed the lake and closeness of the marina. Cute town of Heber Springs for a little shopping and hiking trails for the mornings.

The house was clean & well stocked with everything you would need for a wonderful lake vacation. We celebrated Thanksgiving, loved being able to have a fire. The living room reclining furniture was a hit with our group. We also enjoyed using the solo stove on the patio.

We had a great time at the property. The home was perfect for 9 of us. The property was comfortable and clean and Margo was very responsive anytime we had a question. We also were able to rent a boat slip at the marina just a short drive away which made things much easier for us. We would definitely come back and visit.

The best we’ve stayed at!

My husband and I spent a week at Eden Isle and this has been our favorite place to stay so far. It was clean, and all the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and it was a great location, less than 5 minutes from the marina and Red Apple Inn. The property was beautiful. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Like your staying at a friend's

We've stayed several times at this house, by ourselves and with friends, and every time have had a great experience. The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need. It is so comfortable - it is almost as if you were staying at a friend's house. We have a boat at the marina, so it's a perfect location. We love to take walks in the neighborhood, too.

Home away from home

This cozy house will make you feel at home. Located in a beautiful woodsy setting, it’s convenient to the lake where we were able to enjoy our boat for a few days, as well as local restaurants. It’s outfitted with everything you could possibly need and the hostess was super easy to communicate with.

Great place! Could walk to downtown which is so important as there’s no easy parking! Very busy! You get a parking spot and the bus picks up right out front! Hot tub was the best ever after hiking all day! Would have liked hot tub towels but other than that, it was perfect!

Comfortable and Quiet

The home is very roomy and big enough for a large crowd. Plenty of rooms for quiet time even if a crowd is in another room. Lots of outdoor seating with different areas to gather and enjoy the scenery. Minutes away from stores, restaurants and activities. A short walk to the marina.

Family Reunion at Eden Isle

This really is a fabulous house and great for families. Our large extended family was staying at various properties on Eden Isle and this house was perfect for us to be near to family but also have our own place to escape to. The house is very spacious with great amenities and close to the marina. The hosts are so lovely and great at being communicative and helpful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great house at Eden Isle.

Very clean and very organized. Was impressed with everything that was available to us to use! Just needed the key to the golf cart!! Kidding of course. Great place.
