Mill Creek Estate is an exceptional Vineyard Estate located in the heart of the Sonoma Wine Country near the quaint town of Healdsburg and less than 6 minutes from the historic, upscale, and charming Downtown Plaza. The property consists of a main house and adjacent studio suite situated within an oak covered 15 acre setting. The gated property is nestled in the Sonoma foothills just west of town with views that are truly magnificent. From every direction one will see either intense natural beauty or miles of breathtaking gorgeous scenery. If extreme privacy is what you enjoy this is the place for your wine country vacation experience.
From Mill Creek Road, you will turn up a country lane which winds through an Oak covered forest across the gated 15 acre site to your doorstep. Reminiscent of homes built in early California, this 4 bedroom Estate has lots of exterior and interior stonework providing the perfect marriage of old world country charm and a casual, elegant California lifestyle. The living structures are tucked sensitively into the landscape under a canopy of trees which includes mature 500-year-old oaks. Designed for gracious country living, inside you will find walls of luxurious venetian plaster, vaulted and cathedral ceilings, wood and limestone flooring and abundant windows throughout the house. The views from inside the house are as breathtaking as the views from outside.
Mill Creek Vineyard Estate is the perfect place for family and friends to gather in a relaxing atmosphere of comfort and serenity. Surrounded by spacious terraces, gardens and lawn covered areas, this is the ideal vacation home for those who cherish the outdoors. With most rooms opening onto outside terraces you’re never more than a step away from natural serenity. With 2 covered Arbors and many other sitting areas to choose from, you will find just the right spot to savor a spectacular sunset, read in the afternoon sun or enjoy a candlelight dinner on a warm summer’s evening.
Outdoor amplified music is prohibited by local ordinance at vacation rental properties and also mandates strict outdoor quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 9:00 am.

This beautiful property was the perfect Sonoma location for a family gathering. Very private but also just a quick drive to town. The house is so comfortable that we barely left. Don was a terrific host. We hope to be back soon!!

This is a fabulous house and property! Plenty of room for (5) couples with the added rental of the Airstream which btw was awesome. Even though we had some rain showers on two of the three days, we still managed to enjoy the large spa, bocce court, and outdoor grill. The covered area over the fire table was especially utilized. Don, thank you for making this beautiful home available...we all agreed we'd love to come back.

This house is stunning! Perfect for 4 couples. We loved hanging by the pool all day. The host was very prompt with responses and gave clear directions. It is secluded so there is little cell service but WiFi worked great and it was not a problem. I would love to stay again in the future.

Our family of 8 spent a wonderful week here for our daughter's wedding nearby. The view and grounds and pool area are beautiful. There are two large, shaded sitting areas with comfortable furniture by the pool where we spent a lot of time. We made good use of the bocce court. The house has a beautiful great room overlooking the pool and view, which also was a great space for gathering. On the day of the wedding the great room was the perfect space for bridesmaids and brides to get ready. The kitchen is well equipped. Check in was easy, and Don our host was accessible and accommodating when we had questions about to operate the sound system, etc. We would definitely return!

Gorgeous Healdsburg getaway

The property, especially the backyard is stunning and great for larger groups. We would 100% stay here again!Pros:Stunning backyard Enormous pool, hot tub and bacci ball court were a big hit!Great communication with host and super easy check in and out process8min from downtown HealdsburgSecluded and private Well appointed kitchen and amenities (most rented homes give you one extra trash bag or one dishwasher tablet- this one was very well stocked!)Showers all had great shower pressure2 king suites with very comfortable bedsAll beds were comfortable with nice linens Large living room and dining area to accommodate our family of 10Only caution:Bed sizes were not as listed. 2 bedrooms each have a king size, one has a full/queen and the garage unit had a full/queen and a futonAlso, listing mentions 4.5 baths, but we never found a half bathThe driveway is winding, so be careful at night Overall- we had a great stay, really enjoyed the property and would absolutely recommend and rebook the property!!!

The property is as beautiful (if not more) than the photos suggest. The house is also very nice (better than I expected from the photos). The owner, Don, lives nearby and came over twice to address an issue with the hot tub (which he resolved). Don was very pleasant and happy to assist. The main living room is quite grand and opens to the pool area, making it a great focal point, but the grounds are really the best part. Multiple different areas with pergolas to hang out, a super fancy bocce court, great pool and a working hot tub. Some of the appliances were a bit dodgy due to age/use (fridge froze our eggs, one dishwasher soap compartment did remain closed, but all on par with what one often encounters in rental houses (and having two dishwashers was quite helpful). All in all, definitely a five-star property and a five-star host.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Our group had the best time! Such a lovely property with ample space to gather together but also relax. We really enjoyed hanging by the pool and enjoying a nice dinner outside. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, spices, glassware, etc. Having two dishwashers for a large group was really nice as well.The house is a quick drive into town but feels like you are in your own little world!We're already thinking about the next time we can come back up & stay again!

Wine Country Get-a-Way

Lovely! There were 6 adults - 2 from Mercer Island, Washington, 2 from Park City, Utah, and 2 from Little Rock, Arkansas. We all loved the accommodations, the amenities and the gorgeous views. We highly recommend!!!

Best wedding week

Truly the nicest vacation stay we’ve had. Spacious, equipped, beautiful. Could not have dreamt of a better place to spend our wedding week with family and friends. Also, the views are incredible. The pictures online are nice but doesn’t really do it justice!!

Beautiful Villa in the Hills outside Healdsburg

Still glowing from a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The pool and outdoor spaces were the highlights for us. The well-appointed kitchen, built in outdoor grill, and large great room were highlights for our group. Plenty of space both inside and out for our 6 adults and 4 young kids. The location was stunning and private while also being just a short drive to wineries and the town of Healdsburg with so much to offer. The grounds were well cared for on every level and Donald, responded quickly to every request and was great to work with!

Luxurious Home in Stellar Location

Wow! The home is majestic and very well kept and stocked. The property and views are quite beautiful. We had a great time visiting Healdsburg and the Sonoma county while we were here. It would be hard for us to find a better value than this property!

The house was well appointed for three couples. The Kaseeta was perfect for the fourth couple. We enjoyed the pool, spa, bocce court, views, we will return the next time we are in Sonoma county.

Spectacular setting for a family gathering

For the second year in a row our large extended family (ages ranging from 15 to 77) spent a week at the end of June at this amazing property on a beautiful Sonoma County mountaintop. Quiet, private, set in the trees high on a hill away from it all. We swam, played bocce ball and croquet, took turns cooking delicious family dinners and enjoyed each other. The property is remarkable for the private spaces that let couples get off on their own, including the studio and the cool Airstream option. The family is unanimous - we'll be coming back again next year.

A dreamy girls weekend

Our group of eleven women had a fantastic weekend at this home celebrating a bachelorette. We definitely needed the air mattresses to accommodate that number of adults, but we were all comfortable in the end. The ground are absolutely stunning and it was hard to tear ourselves away from the hot tub and relaxing patio to explore Healdsburg. Don was very responsive and it was helpful to have him nearby. We cooked in for most meals and the kitchen was well stocked. A few things to be aware of if you are visiting this home without a car: make sure you give any deliveries or ride pickups the gate code as cell service can be spotty and there is no gate buzzer. The trash bins are also down the road a ways so plan ahead to transport trash on checkout.
