    The pretty market town of Hawes, with its good selection of shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs, Wensleydale Creamery and museum is just a 10 minute walk away. The site is well placed for walking, or visiting nearby Hardraw Force Waterfall, local caves and castles. Being only half a mile from the Pennine Way makes Bainbridge Ings the perfect location to base yourself for a walking tour of the Dales. The Lake District is a 30 minute drive away.

Hillcroft Park is perfectly situated and offers easy access to the Lake District and the local towns for those who like to discover some of Cumbria’s more specialist shops. Within a short distance from the park there are many local attractions such as the Rheged Visitor Centre and The Ullswater Steamer. Gentle walks, such as the one to the Aire Force Waterfall are just a short drive away. For the more adventurous walkers, Helvellyn and other more taxing walks are close by.

Peaceful, Scenic the perfect Xmas getaway

The location and park is beautiful with very nice views of the dales. The accommodation is well equipped, clean and modern. The hot tub was great for relaxing in after a long walk. Owner are very nice and helpful, I would recommend this property and hope to stay again.

We feel the price we paid for 4 adults sharing was very acceptable. Always check if you're sharing. We got a better deal and accommodation than some friends who paid more for a smaller place.
