"We had comfortable stay at the Grove. The room at first glance looked very nice but on further inspection it was not as clean as I would expect. It was dusty around lights, including the bedside light. The bathroom had a strong damp smell as the shower curtain was discoloured as it hadn’t been washed or changed in a good while. "I’m always a tad concerned when others call a hotel quirky (what’s one person’s quirky is another person’s odd) but this word is very spy in a very positive way. I’ve never known such a relaxed hotel; the staff (with absolutely no exceptions) went out of their way to engage, chat, explain, facilitate… anything you could want. "A large and peacefully situated property, well equipped and comfortable, it is well placed for walking the Wales Coast Path. The dogs loved it as well, having the adjacent fields to play in (whilst no livestock was in them!). There is plenty of room for parking. The owners are accessible, friendly and helpful, but not intrusive."
