Summary:
Granary Cottage is a beautiful converted stone outbuilding set just off a traditional 18th-century courtyard, which once serviced Scolton Home Farm. Stepping inside this spacious cottage, you'll find an open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area adorned with exposed wooden beams and a cozy feel.
This lovingly maintained property features a fully equipped kitchen, including an electric oven with a gas hob, a fridge/freezer, and a microwave.
The Space:
The large lounge offers cozy sofas perfect for snuggling up and watching the smart TV after a full day exploring all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Upstairs, there is a double and a twin bedroom, along with a bathroom equipped with a bath and an overhead shower. The cottage also benefits from not only the outdoor seating area in the courtyard, complete with a picnic table where you can enjoy summer evenings watching the sun go down over this historic location and the Plumstone Mountain but also a private garden at the rear.
The swimming pool, sauna, and gym are all available for guests to use, or why not treat yourself to a relaxing treatment in the on-site spa?
Scolton Cottages are a great place for children. They can have fun in the adventure playground, fire shots into the football goal, or feed the animals. There’s loads to keep young ones busy while you sit back and relax. With a host of residents that will be all too happy to say hello. From the ducks and moorhens on the fenced pond to the pony, goat, and chickens, everyone is always keen to meet you.
Guest Access:
During your stay, you will have exclusive access to the entire cottage. The pool and sauna facilities are shared and available for use during these set times below:

Summer opening hours (May 1st - September 30th)
8.30am - 8pm Monday - Saturday
9.00am - 7pm Sunday

You could enjoy the many woodland walks around Scolton Country Park next door, which our guests can access directly. Here, there’s a wealth of wildlife, plus a museum, adventure playground, coffee shop, gift shop, and, of course, Scolton Manor house, where you can learn the history of Scolton.
If you fancy popping out for a drink or a bite to eat, the local pub – The Pump on the Green – is just a couple of miles away in the neighbouring village of Spittal. ‘The Pump’ provides excellent pub meals and Sunday roasts in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Scolton Cottages are ideally located just 5 miles north of Haverfordwest, providing easy access to the amenities of this charming market town. The cottages are also conveniently close to some of Pembrokeshire's finest beaches and coastal walks. Within a 30-minute drive, you can reach the beautiful beaches of Newgale, Nolton Haven, and Little Haven, known for their stunning scenery and wildlife.
For those seeking indoor activities, Hanger 5, Wales’ first indoor trampoline park, is located just three miles north of Haverfordwest on the way to Fishguard. Whether you prefer exploring the town, enjoying the sandy beaches, or engaging in some fun indoor activities, Scolton Cottages offer a perfect base for your Pembrokeshire adventure.

We recommend having a car to make the most of Pembrokeshire and everything it has to offer.
