Located at the foothills of Havelock North , this beautifully presented property is home to native birds whose song is heard most mornings in our established tree's in our magnificent cobbled courtyard.
Havelock North itself has a reputation as divine with gourmet stores , cafes and restaurants highlighting some of Hawke's Bay 's finest produce and wines

Interesting stay

Porch steps too high for 87 year old seniors who are getting more infirm had hoped there would have been a ramp available but the photo did not show other end of verandah.Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Great time

Everything was great except for the tiny coffee maker. There was a lot of extra things in the bedroom that perhaps weren’t needed and would have allowed more space to organize if they were removed. Overall, it was super awesome. Malcolm and Anne were very nice and accommodating.

An excellent place to sty

We couldnt be happier with our two moth stay. The Cottage was comfortable and quiet. The hosts were exceptional. We will return to Havelock North to visit family and plan on staying at the lovely cottage and wonderful hosts.

Battery Recharge

After months of COVID restrictions it was great to spend five nights at this property to recharge our batteries. Excellent accommodation with the most obliging, generous hosts. Extras included fresh roses, abundant fruit and Easter treats.

Not what we expected

Lovely restored villa from outside, as per the online photos. However, the bedroom was very small - difficult to get in and out of bed and no where to put bags/cloths other than the living space. We had expected there to be more in the kitchenette (but maybe our fault for not reading the details thoroughly)
