SEMI-OCEANFRONT Hatteras – Lighthouse Rd. – If the secret ingredients to savoring a restorative vacation are spectacular surroundings and time with those you cherish, then BONZER BEACH HOUSE offers a feast for the senses and spacious respite for all. Settled on nearly two private acres in the premier oceanside community of Hatteras by the Sea in Hatteras Village, this gorgeous 5,215 sq. ft. retreat with six-bedrooms and seven full- and one-half-baths is the perfect oasis for your family to make unforgettable moments. The thoughtful design of this home is evident the minute you enter the first level, where an entertaining game room and bar area offers a pool table, lounge area with a Samsung® smart TV with surround sound, Blu-ray® player, four-person bar, and a kitchen complete with a full-sized refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, and blender to mix your favorite beverages. Turn up the volume on the indoor/outdoor speaker system, take your drinks out to the deck, and enjoy the ocean breeze until the seven-person hot tub becomes too enticing to ignore. An ensuite king bedroom with private access to the hot tub completes the level. Take the elevator to the second level and discover three more spacious king bedrooms and a kid’s room with built in twin bunks. All offer private baths, deck access, Samsung® smart TVs, and individual in-bed reading lights.

Paying homage to Hatteras Island’s famous lighthouse, a replica lights the way as you amble up the stairs to the third level, an elegant, open, and airy enclave where every thoughtful detail leaves an indelible impression. The large and superbly equipped kitchen will instantly become a focal gathering point. Plan your day over coffee at the large and luxurious quartz island, collaborate over meal prep with dual appliances, and gather for memorable meals at the 12-seat dining room table with four extra seats at the island. Stylish and comfortable seating in the great room brings everyone together, too, for conversation or communal TV time. Relax and enjoy the fans whirling overhead from the wood-lined pitched ceiling or catch a cooling breeze on the home’s wrap around deck where both unobstructed ocean and sound views invite you to unwind and take it all in. Sunsets from the rear deck are epic as you watch the sun descend into the Pamlico Sound. The final king ensuite bedroom on this level features an expansive bathroom with stereo sound and a private balcony.

Just when you thought a vacation home couldn’t be more perfect, a fourth level reveals a beautiful library and offers a quiet haven to absorb a good book or observe a bird’s eye view of Hatteras Island from one of its highest decks. The library also includes a home workstation with desk, large screen monitor, webcam, and multifunction printer/scanner.

When you’re ready to escape to the beach, embark to the ocean shores only 300 feet away via the nearby path. The beach accesses in Hatteras by the Sea are for residents and guests only which keeps the beach uncrowded. The Hatteras by the Sea community pool is only 500 feet away. The sound side and the Hatteras Village sidewalk are just a short walk away.

We absolutely loved staying here. The kitchen is AMAZING. Has everything you will ever need. Aka my dream kitchen. Place was super clean! Hosts were amazing at contacting through email. It is by far the perfect house and we had the most amazing stay!
