"When I arrived at the property, I couldn't get into the building because I had received no checkin instructions. I saw a few message asking me to pay for a damage deposit in my Expedia inbox. But I didn't get any advanced notification in my gmail inbox until on the checkin afternoon. Because I was travelling, I couldn't have seen these messages until I arrived at the property. The message was very cryptic. It wasn't immediately clear what I needed to do. Another hotel guest kindly explained...

"El personal muy amable desde que reservé, me dieron opciones para llegar al lugar. Siempre muy amables y atentos. Tomando el bus 100 llegas a la terminal North de Gatwick solo a 7 minutos y la parada está a unos cuantos pasos del hotel. Gracias "

"Superb value for money, fabulous location as only a couple of stops on the train (3 min walk to station) and we were Brighton. Parked for free on links road. We had the en suite, which was a massive room & comfy bed. Only thing was bathroom blind needs replacing (for privacy) and shower thermostat wasn’t easy to change (went too hot) apart from that - brilliant base for exploring area/Brighton. We loved our stay thanks!"

"The house is lovely and staff is friendly. Easy access from and to Gatwick, walking distance from Horley Thames Link station. Walking distance from restaurants and stores. "

"For what you pay it’s extremely decent especially considering it is right on the seafront. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room itself was clean. The only downside is that even with the windows open there was no airflow but nothing can really be done for that. The shared bathroom was a little bit grubby but not bad."

"Too many notes telling you not to scratch things. It was nothing like as described on website. Spoon holding the window fastener, other windows held together with duck tape. . Felt damp in there so needed heat. Bedding wasn’t Egyptian cotton, bottom sheet was pea green. Tap just dribbled water out of wash basin. Lane and track down to property was terrible, full of holes. We didn’t stay for breakfast or to sleep there."
