"This charming cottage was perfect for myself and 2 friends. The weather eas rainy but cleared for beautiful sunsets. We even saw Northern lights. If the temperatures were warmer we would of kayaked. We had fun playing games, doing puzzles and takjng a day trip to Alpena. I would rent this cottage again when the weather is warmer to kayak and play in the lake."

"Relax by the fire pit or go fishing and swimming right across the street. There is also a basketball hoop in the back yard for some afternoon fun. What a great place to stay in the summer."

"If I wrote a full review of this listing we would all be here for a full day. So here's what was wrong. 1. Absolutely nothing! This cottage is amazing. The hosts, amazing. The area, amazing. They thought of everything you might need to have the best possible experience. The communication is very pleasant and clear, the area is peaceful and quiet. I have already sent the booking link to some friends and I plan on booking again within the next few months. If you can get a chance to book this...

"We stayed at this property to be close to ORV trails. This place met all of our needs and was so cute and cozy! The owners were very attentive and the place was clean and stocked oh all theeer necessities and then some. We will definitely return to this prop"

"Preplanned trip before snow prediction. 2 couples have cottages in neighborhood but both were winterized so we decided to rent a house nearby. Rough travel going up but house was delightful. Clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was good. Easy entry. Would recommend. Plan on renting again."

"We met our son from CMU here for a 4 day stay. We really enjoyed fishing and bonfires. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The lake was surprisingly quiet and we caught pike, bass, and bluegill right from the dock. Our youngest son loved playing in the sandy beach. We’ll definitely be back."
