    Cross Village is a quaint community in Northern Michigan, Situated on pristine Lake Michigan Beaches. The town is small - and rich with history. Walk to the beach, grab a bite at Historic Legs Inn or Petoskey brewing, all a short walk from your room. Or...schedule an art class at Three Pines Studio during your stay. Hiking and biking trails abound. Nearby private lakes and rivers offer tranquil places to relax or to drop a line in the water. This is the secluded, up-North Beach retreat you`ve been looking for!

    There`s plenty of parking just feet from each suite. Every destination in town: from the museum, to restaurants, to secluded Lake Michigan Beaches - is walkable. The Art Studio is next door - through a connected, wooded path. Cross Village is a bikers` paradise as the motel is located at the very North entrance of the famous Tunnel of Trees!
    Please don`t move patio furniture. Please don`t take bath towels to the beach. Four towels and 8 coffee pods are provided per stay, regardless of duration of booking. If additional of either is desired, please let us know and we will inform the cleaning staff - who typically responds within a day or two.

It was so lovely and clean! Well appointed and just enough space for the two of us! Super easy, check-in, lovely and quiet, and so sweet to have the makings of s’mores ready for us! I would stay there again in a minute! I would stay there just for the shower! A beautiful shower!!!!

Perfect Home Base for your Up North Adventures

Spirit Lake will become our yearly spot to stay for our annual Up North family vacation! The property is modern, extremely clean and the perfect location to all the great Up North offerings like Mackinac Island, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, the Tunnel of Trees and the famous Legs Inn is in walking distance. Cross Village is quiet, quaint and peaceful! Check in and check out was a breeze and the hosts were wonderful! Comfy beds and a great shower were just what we needed after a full day adventuring!

Our stay at Spirit Lake retreat was very nice. The suites are well appointed and we enjoyed the coffee maker microwave and mini fridge. It was nicely air condition in the bathroom was great with a nice walk-in shower. We especially enjoyed the covered porch at the entryway to sit with a glass of wine in the evening. We visited Harbour Springs Goodhart, middle Village and Cross village highly recommend perch on the porch on Fridays at the crows nest anyway we would gladly stay there again.

This is a beautifully upgraded cabin that’s very quaint and cozy. We loved the fire pits out back with the Chairs. Enjoyed walking down the street to the iconic restaurant “Legs Inn.” Though we had neighbors, it was very quiet and private. Great hospitality. We had one minor issue and Daniel was super responsive and took are of us. Highly recommend!
