"I booked this hotel because of the positive reviews, beautiful photos, and the specific room that was advertised. Unfortunately, my experience did not match those expectations. Upon arrival, I was not given the room I reserved and paid for, and I was told that because I booked through a third party, nothing could be done. "Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience here. Our room had not been cleaned well (or maybe not at all).There was hair on all the pillows on one of the beds, a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom and dirt and crumbs on the floor by the window and one of the beds. Our room was just by the elevator, which happens sometimes, but was noisy and hard to sleep. I am on a road trip with my 16 year old and it has been hot for us (we’re from the PNW) so the pool was a great opportunity....

"The hotel is nice clean and the beds were comfortable. Had issues with the thermostat but we fixed it. The breakfast buffet is good. Waffles eggs bacon sausage bagels biscuits and more. Coffee offered all day and delicious. We will stay again."

"Property itself and room was clean and mostly well maintained. Bathroom had some drainage issues in the shower. The biggest problem here is the lack of security in the parking area. You must pay for parking here and there are no cameras which is a major security issue in a high crime area like this one. Our car was broken into in this lot on this property and there was nothing that could be done due to the lack of cameras and security overall. Unless the property is planning on adding security...

"Checking in we were greeted with a warm welcome and check in was easy. The hotel was clean. Breakfast the 1st morning we must have hit it at a very busy time, we had to wait awhile for eggs and sausage. But food was hit and good."

"Last year we came to Wilmington for the first time for a vacation. We stayed at this hotel. We like it so much that we came back this year to Wilmington again for a vacation and made sure we got to stay in this hotel. Staybridge East is situated off a busy road just far enough away from traffic noise. It's located just a few miles from Wrightsville Beach, very convenient.
