The 3 night stop we had on what is a long 50 day trip around Canada and Alaska was brilliant and the washing machine and tumble dryer in the apartment were a fantastic touch. Cannot fault our stay and the included breakfast was excellent as well!!!!!!!!!"

"Easy to get to tourist areas & downtown, reception was friendly & helpful from where to eat, how to get u-ride drivers when we needed, we axtually extended out stay an extra day before going back to Halifax. Hats off to Kerstine, she went over & above to make our stay great. "

"The efficiency had everything you need. I was a single and more than I needed but the price was good. The only down fall is that I am a senior. I asked for a downstairs room and said it was not possible. I said I could do the stairs but not with luggage so they carried them up for me. It was very quiet. With the 2 rooms. It would be good with children too. And the playground."

"From the moment we arrived, we felt we were at a magical hotel that was so warm and cozy. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Our room was really nice and we enjoyed staying there. The room had dishware to use and you get a daily refresh. (No seafood allowed.) Breakfast is in a very cozy dining room. We would have preferred it open earlier but it is worth waiting for. "Parking super easy. Staff very pleasant. But overall property is very dated and definitely not a 5 star. Beds very comfy and most importantly clean and fresh but little things like nicer soaps, shampoos etc and slippers for your room would make up for the dated property (which in fairness is a period property). Little touches like this would elevate the overall experience. "
