  • Looking for a getaway with a view but the comfort of home, the Hampton House offers both including a spacious boat ramp. This spacious house offers sunset views of the Mississippi River from the kitchen, living room and master suite. Feel right at home with amenities including a Keurig coffeemaker, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV’s, fresh linens and towels as well a washer & dryer on site. Just a short drive to Le Claire and home of the American Pickers! If you enjoy bicycling then this house is right for you as The Great River Trail bike path is right outside the front door. We also have two local parks within a half mile away with all kinds of hiking and activities to do. Brand new hot tub for your enjoyment as well!!

River House with great view of the Mississippi. Saw pelicans, river otters and barges. House was clean and had a big deck with plenty of seating. Three TVs and three bathrooms make a difference. Plenty of things to do in area. House is close to LeClaire Iowa which is a great place to visit.

If you wish to be directly on the Mississippi, this is the place. Large deck, just a bit south of lock 14. Home is imaculate, clean, with plenty of river views. Hot tub available (didn't use) but was prepped and ready. Great place to be lazy but there's lots to see and do nearby. The host was excellent, we will be back!

Place was very clean. The view of the river was beautiful. My main issue is with the blinds. The style of blinds in both bedrooms windows block little to no light from entering both of the bedrooms. Which means if you have toddlers and an infant... They're up with the sun at 6am. Other than that, it was a great stay and I would repeat.

The house is clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. The hot tub overlooking the river was wonderful. The views from the all seasons room were a picturesque way to start each day. When we reached out to him, the host responded within a reasonable amount of time. A few drawbacks: the bathroom near the second bedroom didn’t have a shower head, leaving half of us to use the tiny bathroom off of the laundry room for showering. The beds were not very comfortable, and the pillows are flat. Living room furniture was also not comfortable. Finally, the grill in the property listing was not operating properly (didn’t get warm enough to grill meat).
