"The historic hotel, and its location make a perfect stay in Shrewsbury. Easy access to the great towns pubs, restaurants and shops. The staff are helpful and your stay will be great. My only consideration and negative comment would be the creaking ceilings. Ok it’s old and you expect that a bit. ..."

Cromwell's Tap House
"A very quirky upbeat pub with oldy worldy rooms. Great food and friendly staff. Lovely sheltered beer garden. Fab location for exploring town. Only negative comments are room needed a good dust and the bar closes at 10pm on Monday and Tuesday evenings, otherwise very nice 2 night stay."

"Lovely stay at an amazing old building. 14 adults and a 2 year old stayed for 3 nights for a family weekend away.
