DUE TO BILL 41 we are only allowed to rent one time in a 30 day period so our minimum bookings will be 30 days or longer.

This one bedroom plus queen size sleeper couch in the living room is comfortable for up to four. Set in the most prime area on the North Shore conveniently located midway between Sunset and Waimea overlooking the most famous surf spots in the world.

Everything about this place was designed for comfort , offering leather sofas, granite bar/counters in bath and kitchen, vessel sink, river rock shower/bath tub, All stainless appliances gas cooktop, flat screens, cable, AC in bedroom and Living room for your comfort. Private courtyard enclosed red wood fence area with hot and cold outdoor shower. Off street parking for one car.

This one bedroom unit is located on the first floor of a large home. You have your own private entrance. This unit is perfect for a couple honeymooning or just a romantic getaway or a small family. Need a larger space for a family reunion or large party the adjoining door can be open and now it's a large 5 bedroom house with occupancy up to 13. Check out our other property #4634795 This propety is attached to a small one bedroom on the 1st floor.

Your view of Off The Wall is amazing, Pipe, Backdoor, Rockpile and Logs right out in front depending on which way you look. Lifeguards available next door during business hours.

The Bonzai Rock Skatepark is across the street and there is tennis, basketball and hiking nearby. Golf at the Turtle Bay Resor which is a few miles down the road. Ride bikes from out your gate onto the beautiful tropical bike path. Paddle board, surf board and water sport rentals available at locations nearby. Grocery store, gas station, some of the best swimming and snorkeling beaches on the North Shore during certain seasons, even catch a glimpse of whales, dolphins and swim with turtles right out in front during selected months.

Rainbows are almost always a sure thing here. During the season the best surfing hands down goes on right out in plain view from your place. Come and enjoy!

We are located on a tiny one way street between the ocean and our main road. Your just steps to the beautiful white sand beaches and amazing blue waters. Ocean front house with amazing views either way you look.


There is NO Smoking of anything, NO Vapor, Cigarettes, Cigars, Marijuana, etc., allowed in the home or on the decks or patio. You may NOT smoke in the home or on the premises. If this rule is violated there will be a $500 fine and an additional cleaning fee to cover the cost of removing the smell.

There are NO parties allowed. If you have a party there will be a $500 fine.

There are no charging of electric vehicles on the property. We are not set up for this and do not want damage to our electrical system. Any violation will result in a $2000 fine plus any additional charges to repair the electrical damages.

Great place to stay!

We spent 3 weeks at this rental while visiting family nearby. The property was clean and the location was better than expected. The beach is right there - and no worrying about trying to find parking while enjoying the beach, because there is a dedicated parking spot that goes with the rental. This property shares a driveway with the lifeguard building next door, and there is a lifeguard hut right in that part of the beach as well. That part of the beach was nice and open without too many people - just down the street, the beaches were packed! While we were there, a film crew came out and filmed a new lifeguard tv show in cooperation with the lifeguards. Not sure when or where it will air, but that was cool to see. The full bed was comfortable and worked for us - we bought our own pillows while we were there because the pillows were pretty flat - we both woke up with neck-aches our first night. (We didn't mind buying our own, though, since we were there for 3 weeks.) The sofa and chair are comfortable, but the cushions are flat as well. We used the kitchen a lot while we were there. It would have been nice to have some more small appliances, especially since we are still in the pandemic. We ended up buying a blender and a couple other things that we ended up leaving with my in-laws in Hawaii. But the kitchen had the basics. Other than that, the major appliances were nice, the sink was nice and deep and the layout of the kitchen is very functional. Everything was very clean when we arrived. Accessing the property was simple, and the property managers allowed early check-in which we really appreciated. Overall, we had such a pleasant stay, we plan to book this property again on our next visit.

Perfect Getaway

This property was perfect location, clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for accomodation in that area. Beach on your doorstep.

BEACHFRONT BEAUTY

This place was fantastic. The bedroom was TINY but nice and cool with great AC and we werent' there to sleep.. we were there to be on the north shore and it doesn't get better than right on the beach, right next to the lifeguard house and so close to Shark's Cove! The seperate AC in the livingroom/kitchen also worked so great. the outdoor shower was a perfect and the place is so private.. it's nestled right behind the main street which means yes you can hear the traffic. The one drawback is you are below and share a wall with the big rental house and depending on whos' renting that it can be noisy with them talking and walking etc. The only other small note would be soap. They provide no shower soap, no shampoo.. just toilet paper and dish soap. My son used the skate park every day as well which is a great bonus. Plus.. the beach this is on is not touristy at all.. a giant beautiful beach all to yourself!!! We will come back again for sure!

The location makes up for it all!

Our stay on the North Shore was incredible. We were extremely happy with our choice in regards to location. You're across from Off The Wall and in walking distance to the big strip and Shark's Cove! The check-in process was not so great, unfortunately. I had to call the realtor and figure out how to get in to find the lockbox. I think it's worth it to note in the description or check-in instructions that the entrance to the VRBO is not only in a courtyard (which it is stated) but behind a door that may be locked. When we were trying to get in, I was very cautious about opening the door to the courtyard because it was latched and I didn't know it. I didn't want to break a door that I wasn't even sure was the right one! When I spoke to the realtor she was able to explain to me where exactly we were to park and enter, but it sounded like she was a little annoyed with me asking these questions. She told me to look at the pictures in the listing (which I always do, of course) and that a picture of the house was there. That is very true--however, it's an ariel view and you can't really tell where the courtyard is and where the entrance is from that type of picture. Like I said, it didn't seem like she was all that jazzed to be helping me. I also messaged her on the site prior to arriving to ask if we could have an earlier check-in and then decided to call and just chat with someone instead of waiting for a message and when I got in touch with her she said she saw my message and would get back to me when she spoke to housekeeping. She never got back to me. Not sure if she would have answered my message if I didn't call her. There is a note in the listing to call 24 hours beforehand if you would like an earlier check-in and the reason I was trying to contact her was because we arrived earlier than expected so I was just reaching out to see. Bed is SUPER small--described as "cozy." My husband and I had to split up--I slept on the couch and he slept in the bed and vise versa. Air conditioner in the living room area did not feel like it worked at all. Very warm in there even with the fans. But the AC unit in the bedroom worked great. With all that said...you canNOT beat this location. And the fact that there is free parking right next to the house is a HUGE plus!

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The location was absolutely perfect for our family. Surf and skate on repeat all day long. The house was clean and well appointed. My only recommendation would be to have a blow up mattress for guest use rather than the pull out coach. The property manager was very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location. Unit just right for what we needed. Bed comfortable, upgrades very nice. Only suggestion for travelers is it would be nice to have a starter roll of toilet paper and 2-3 garbage bags to take the trash out.

Cute and very cozy little beach shack steps from a GORGEOUS beach!

Prime location. Stayed in February for 4 nights. We made this rental work for a family of 4 - sleeping on the pull out and letting the little kids share the little bed in the bedroom. I think this is probably what you would expect from most north shore rentals - cute, cozy. Pros - really prime location - beach here was FANTASTIC! What felt like miles of endless wide beach, gorgeous waves. I think you really are mainly paying for the proximity to this. Cons - Can hear above and neighboring renters, no WIFI or cell reception at the property while we were here which was fine for us (but don't expect to work - although why would you want to!). Perhaps a smidge more run down than the pictures would lead us to believe but really it was fine. Had no real issues. Also be ready for the fact that if it rains there is a HUGE puddle in front of the driveway to traverse in order to walk down to the beach. I'm sure this was more of a seasonal issue.

The property was great..Clean, comfortable and fantastic location.

We were really happy when we got to our place. We couldn’t believe it was literally on the beach where some of the best surfing in world is! We heard the waves at night and walked the beach every morning. The grocery store, food trucks, Sunrise Shack and Ted’s are a bike ride away and Haleiva is a 10 minute drive. Our place was small but perfect. We slept in the bedroom and our son slept on the comfortable pull out. He is a surfer so he was in heaven!

Fantastic Location -- Meteor Showers were the bomb!

This is a fantastic little beach place and steps from the beach. However, in fairness, it is not "oceanfront". The photograph shown here is taken from (I believe) the roof of this building which is not a view from this unit nor is the rooftop accessible from this unit... there is a "fair" beach view when standing on the deck just outside the sliding glass door (but not enough space for chairs, etc). Nonetheless, this IS the beach just steps away and we enjoyed it a lot! For the price, you cannot expect "oceanfront" and thus, I still give it 5 stars. The place itself is clean, gorgeous bathroom, well-appointed kitchen, ample towels, beach chairs, outdoor shower, bbq, and a courtyard that was sufficiently large enough for our bikes. While still a 5 star given the quality, location, and price, there are a few items that I believe you want to be aware of so that you properly set your expectations. The bedroom is tiny... barely room to walk around the bed. The pull out sofa could use a new mattress, and the drapes at the sliders are strangely way too long. Overall, minor inconveniences when weighing out the value. The area is spectacular. We watched the meteor showers from the beach each night and we rented bikes for our entire stay from Shark's Cove Dive and Snorkel shop. There is a wonderful lush bike path off of the highway that parallels the ocean which we took all over and were able to find plenty of snorkel and swim spots. The surf at our beach was too rough for swimming while we were there but is known for surfing (but again we used our bikes to get everywhere we wanted to be and thus, saw a lot more of the area and experienced other beaches/coves). We would walk the miles of beach each morning and night. I only needed the owners attention once but Marla was "on the spot" and immediately redirected me to solve my problem, There is also a grocery store at Shark's Cover -- very convenient! I loved this little place and would definitely rent it again when looking for a comfortable place for two (max 3) adults. It accommodated two of us with our own sleeping spaces very well. One last local treat I would recommend... don't miss Ted's Bakery -- home of the Famous Chocolate Cream Haupia Pie and Coconut Cake! Yummmmmm!

Disappointing!

Very basic accommodation and in need of maintenace. E.g lamp fittings. A few more creature comforts would also help, such as a table outside in the little court yard. A kettle for boiling water would also be a welcome addition. I injured my leg on the metal corner of the bed. Suggest you pad tbis. I left a towel around it for this purpose. TV remote needs new batteries.

Great location, okay accomodations

The location is prime for access to the beach and great surfing! However the accommodations were only okay. I would not recommend staying on the bottom floor, as you will hear every step from the upstairs unit. We were noisily woken up at 530 each day. The pull out couch was anything but comfortable but I think that is expected. The host, Marla, was very responsive and helpful. We had a lock break and she had it replaced by the next morning. Everything functioned great including the A/C. The space is pretty small which encourages you to spend more of that valuable time outside!

Loved the location!

We enjoyed bring right at the lifeguard station. The place was compact, but comfortable for two people. However, the couch and chair were unusable if we didn't put pillows under the cushions. The bed in the couch was comfy for one person. The kitchen was great. But the view out the windows was really wonderful. We really enjoyed our time here and might come back. CANNOT beat the location!

Perfect location, truly at the beach, in all its amazing glory! We very much liked the kitchen, bathroom, and sitting rooms, but, sorry to say, we did not like the bedroom, which was a windowless closet with barely room for a double bed. Also, our arrival was somewhat confused, due to inadequate instructions re: exact location and entry methods. That being said, the owner was very responsive and helpful, although you will have to text her with questions as there is no cell signal at the apartment, only WiFi - which was good. Nevertheless, our overall stay was great - for the price, this location can't be beat.

Perfect beach getaway!

Our family of 4 enjoyed every bit of this little beach house gem. The location was prime; just steps away from the beautiful light sand beach. The house was fully stocked with any and everything we needed.. beach towels, beach toys, blender, toaster, you name it! We enjoyed shopping at the nearby market and cooking or barbecuing our dinner right there at the house. Both beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets & towels in stock. In the evening, we enjoyed a movie on the cable tv provided, and the strong WiFi connection was great. Communication with the owner was always pleasant and prompt. We definitely look forward to staying here again in the future!

Is not worth the money per night

Very very small unit, says sleeps 4 but has one double bed and an older uncomfortable pull out couch. Ended up buying a blow up matress so 3 of us could sleep. Kitchen cabinets need some work and the light in the bed room did not work. If there is another group renting the upstairs unit, the noise below is very loud and the alarm system beeps every time they open the door. No cell service inside the unit. Only nice thing is the beach access to north shore right out side.

Paradise!
