Located in the beautiful 24 hours gated golf community of Southern Dunes, this 2 story south facing golf front pool home offers one of the best views on the golf of all houses in the community. The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is fully equiped with WIFI, a heated pool, bbq grill, smart TVs in each of the bedroom, cable box in 3 rooms. NFL redzone available from Sept until the end of the football seasons. In the kitchen you will get a complete cookware including a crockpot, There is a front door ADT security camera with patio door alarms if guests want to set them up. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a queen size bed. On the second floor, there is a master bedroom with a king size bed and in suite bathroom. The second floor also has one bedroom with a queen size bed and another bedroom with a full-twin size mattress bunk bed with a trundle bed (sleeps up to 4). The house sleeps comfortably 8 with possibility to sleep 11 with the trundle bed and 1 spare single mattress available. On the ground floor you will enjoy the ceramic tile all throughout and the nice views on the golf course. The second floor has laminate floor all throughout. Whether you come for a romantic stay or you are two families, you will find the house is just the right size for you to enjoy your vacation and relax. The house is located 1 mile from Walmart and WinnDixie. The southern Dunes golf community is gated and very quiet. You can enjoy the quiet location while being close to everything and all parks (legoland, disney, universal etc). The southern Dunes is ranked in the top best golfs in Florida. Should you be interested in longer stays please email the owner to get a discount quote. We are confident that house is one of the best house with all of the equipment for the price!

FRANCAIS: Située dans le superbe quartier securisé 24 heures du golf de Southern Dunes, cette maison de 2 étages ayant une piscine privée située au sud offre de superbes vues sur le golf, une des meilleures vues de tout le quartier. La maison possède 4 chambres, 3 salles de bain et est pleinement équipée avec le chauffe piscine, bbq, TV dans chaque chambre, une grande variété de canaux disponibles, chaise haute pour bébé, WIFI, set de cuisine complet incluant un crockpot, système d'alarme, etc. La maison peut coucher confortablement 8 adultes tout en permettant de coucher jusqu'à 11 personnes avec 1 chambre des maîtres qui comporte un lit king, une chambre avec lit queen au rez de chaussée ainsi que 2 autres chambres, une ayant un queen et l'autre avec un lit superposé ayant un matelas double et lit simple et tiroir-lit simple (couche 4) . De plus, 1 matelas simple additionnels peut être utilisé pour y coucher une 11e personne. Au rdc, vous apprécierez le plancher de céramique et la superbe vue sur le golf à partir de la cuisine et salle à manger. La grande chambre des maitres du 2e étage possède une grande salle de bain et un grand garde robe. Que ce soit pour une séjour romantique ou avec la famille, vous apprécierez la proximité de tous les parcs incluant Legoland et la possibilité de jouer le superbe golf de Southern Dunes. La maison est située moins de 2km du Walmart ouvert 24 heures. Le golf de Southern Dunes est parmi les 5 plus beaux golf quotés de la Floride. Si vous aimez le golf vous adorerez ce terrain. Great house! Sun all day and no insects. Also, our communication with Julie was excellent. Some minor notes: we couldn’t find a pool net cleaner and some of the kitchen equipment (apart from the new dishwasher) could use an upgrade.Really enjoyed our stay!

Softball week in Florida

This was a great place to stay! Nice neighborhood on a golf course with a lovely pool. Had everything you need with shopping and restaurants close by. Easy trip to and from the softball field. Diamond Duplex. Had great communication with the property manager and no issues during our stay! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Wonderful stay

Our host was so responsive. Answered any questions so fast. The property was very clean and well stocked (many dishes, pots, pans, sheets, towels, chairs, etc). Would definitely recommend this property.

Home away from home

Part of our visit was to connect with a family member who was very sick. This house was very comfortable and allowed us to relax during some trying times. A relative decided to join at the last minute and the Host was extremely communicative, which was so helpful. We are grateful for the opportunity to have stayed here. Nice and clean with all the amenities. Would definitely do a repeat stay!

Another enjoyable vacation!

We have been coming to Southern Dunes now for many years. Julie's home is awesome and I especially appreciate that she is pet friendly. The home is well equipped with everything you need. Amenities are in close proximity and the community is friendly and safe. Julie thank you once again for another enjoyable vacation.

Was An Ok Stay

We have stayed in Southern Dunes a few times so in our review we could compare with other stays , which were wonderful! Pros Stayed here for 3 weeks. House is very spacious, lots of room. Has been supplied with everything you need for your stay, even welcoming soaps,dishwasher tabs. House was tidy in appearance. Furniture(beds, sofa were comfortable). Julie was wonderful to correspond with, which we had to do a few times during our stay. We choose this house for a southern exposure as it was the month of Nov, didn’t have too much sun but did get the rays after 2:30 pm for a few hours. Most houses got no sun at all at this time of year. Check in was great and allowed to enter earlier according to our arrival there! Really appreciated that! Some cons As others have mentioned , house could do with a deep cleaning, very dirty windows ( we cleaned one pane of door and lights around alcove). Definitely needs new throw rugs, indoor and out, new pad for lounge chairs outside would be nice. Dusty place! Lanai screen had lots of open spaces and needs to be replace in areas. One evening tons of flying bugs came in during dinner. Pool deck under eating area needs to be redone, very gritty , dirty. Pool heater broke down, pool was kinda warm at first but by third week was cold 73.5. We didn’t notice as it rained for a week and didn’t mention it to Julie till last 8 days of our trip. Julie did reimbursed us 7 days of payment of heat. Overall an ok stay.

Great place!

The house is only 40min away from parks and a great location for families. Near by many stores like Walmart, supermarkets and restaurants. Julie was an amazing host who responded really fast. Note that the house is near a golf course so you will find golf balls around and see people while your in the pool but I found it entertaining. Honestly my family loved it so much they are thinking of buying a house in the community. The community is also gates so you feel safe. I am MOST DEFINITELY staying again!

Kokomo Loop Home

My Husband and I enjoyed our one month stay in Southern Dunes. Everything was just what we had expected. The pool is south facing for all day sun and it faces onto the second hole of the beautiful golf course. The home was totally set up with everything that we needed for our one month stay. Julie was a pleasure to deal with and there where no issues at all. We would definitely recommend this home and Julie always answers any questions promptly.

Owner Great

Owner has excellent communication skills. Did call the maintenance/manager and phone call never returned. Owner resolved my issue. There are no dish drops for kitchen and you will need more trash bags as they only give u 2. Gas grill tanks were both empty. I filled one like they say to do!! Nice pool and on golf course. Would rent again!! Owner is great!!!

Strange Times

We were assured to get our check in information 48 hours before arrival, on our day of travel we had not received anything so had to request it. We got the information quickly but this should not have been necessary. We arrived at the property the weekend before Hurricane Ian and stayed through it. The villa upon arrival was not as spotlessly clean as my expectation and there was a slightly odd smell. The pool was also unusable and opaque in colour. Turns out the previous renters had Great Danes so would have expected a full deep clean of house and pool after that. After the hurricane power was out for 3 days but this is out with the owners control - however there was no emergency kit with torches, candles and batteries which is something we have had on other rental properties. Once things were back to normal we contacted the management team to advise of leakages and they were quick to attend, as was the pool maintenance person who did everything within his power before the arrival of my grandchildren. The vacuum cleaner did not work which made cleaning up carpeted areas difficult especially as we had children staying. Three days before leaving the tumble dryer stopped working, again this was reported to the management company but it was not replaced until after we left. The location of the estate is fabulous however the location of the property was on a very busy compact residential area and having two large SUV’s it was sometimes very difficult to park. One of the bedrooms did not have a working television throughout and we were told to call the company to rectify ourselves rather than the management company dealing with. Overall the property needs a bit of love. It’s unlikely we will return.

Great Time

The property was in good condition, good location, and had plenty of space. Pool was great. For everything we planned on doing, it was very centrally located. Property owner was great and quick to respond when we woke up the first morning and found out the coffee maker was not working! She was so quick, there was a new coffee maker just inside the door when we got back to the house that evening! We would look to stay again whenever we are in the area again!

The house was trashed from prior renters and there was a lot of lingering effects from that.

I did contact the property owner and she did try to resolve the problem but we still spent the first few hours of our vacation cleaning.

Would most definitely stay here again!!

My family will most definitely stay here again!! The house and pool area is exactly as described. The house was very clean and smelled good. The beds were all very comfortable!! The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans etc. The neighborhood was very quiet. My husband and I enjoyed waking up early every morning and sitting out on the Lani drinking our cup of coffee and watching the golfers. Ms. Julie is an amazing host!! Anytime I had a question she was very quick at responding. I have no complaints at all. ~Heather

Family vacation

The property and location of it was nice. We couldn’t mop the floors as the mop that was there had an awful smell to it. You have to buy/bring your own toilet paper, napkins and trash bags. Overall it was ok but next time we go to visit family we will be staying closer to Tamp.

Overall good stay

Overall good stay. I guess due to COVID-19 there was nothing by way of things like salt, coffee filters and such so bring some. This was no big deal, but the mattress in the master bedroom was horrible woke up everyday with a back ache.

Property review

This is my 3rd visit to Southern Dunes and I like the properties and the area. Will rent in this property again when I visit. This house is nice and clean. There are no games (ex. pool table, ping pong) in this house, but that does not take away from the comfort.

Maintenance on this property needs a good over all cleaning/ update..

My experience, May 18- June 8, 2021 We checked everything out and imedetaly noticed dusty aircon vents, plugged up bathroom, exhaust fans, dusty blinds, ceiling fans, gross cobweb and dust on that *weird head bumping spaceage- diningroom light fixture. The floor was just sticky & grimey and carpeted stairs had not been vacuumed. A long haired dog apparently had recently stayed there? Very dirty ceiling fans, moldy front window, bathtub shower curtians need washed or replaced & moldy caulk in tub/ shower. *Pool deck was filthy ( lots of dirt and dog hair) and I did try to hose it off. BTW; *NO Cleaning supplies at all. *One dishwasher tablet. *No bathroom cleaner, so after 3 weeks, toilets were moldy, sinks and tub/ showers were very bad. *65 degree Pool & heater costs extra??? Whaaaaat???? Yep! Just so you know-The street and driveway was super narrow, no sidewalks so you walk in the street. HOA rules are just weird and not inforced. Golfers were OK during daylight hours, but after golf course closes, the "party crazy people" come out, shirtless, loud, & drunk hitting balls every direction. Managment we repaired the icemaker ourself. *Management did replace the non working grill with a new one. Owner pays a cleaning service so I shouldn't have to clean a $$$$ rental house, but I did. Can you tell that I used to manage properties and was a housekeeping inspector? ♡We paid a lot for this 3 week rental and had a great time with our family. Florida is beautiful. Family time was wonderful.

Great stay!

The home was beautiful and clean. Exactly as described. We did have an issue with the WiFi but the owner as well as the property manager were quick to get it resolved. Definitely would recommend staying here!
