"Beautiful location with the stream running in front. Located in a quaint village - it was lovely and quiet! Room was lovely and very spacious and breakfast was delicious. About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. Sian and the cleaner (so sorry I forgot her name!) we're extremely friendly and helpful, even gave me access to their mobile hot-spot and helped with local attraction advice. The check-in / bar staff were a little less helpful, including dinner service -...

"Fantastic property in a great location just a few minutes walk from the town. Sean was incredibly accommodating from the minute I arrived, providing me with books and information of snowdon routes ahead of my climb! Absolute 10/10 breakfast cooked by sean, again he was very accommodating providing me the option to have it earlier than the usual time so I could get up the mountain quicker. If I ever return I’ll be sure to stay here again, fantastic stay."

"First time visitors. Very comfortable, quiet and clean. We will be back."

"Excellent place to stay. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Cosy bedroom, comfy beds. All very clean. The food was tasty. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfasts."

"It is located in a quiet and very beautiful part of the country. A perfect place to relax for a few days."

"Interior del hotel muy bien decorado. Habitación amplia (7), cómoda y calentita. En el cuarto de baño había un problema de evacuación del agua de la ducha. Punto negativo, la manera de recibir ha sido un poco impersonal y hemos tenido que pagar todo con antelación cuando hemos llegado. Personal del desayuno muy simpático, muchas gracias a ella por sus sonrisas y su ayuda. Desayuno muy bueno y completo."

"We had a wonderful 1 nights stay on the way to Anglesey. Check-in was quick and efficient. The lodge rooms were warm and comfortable. The bar area had lovely decor (would have been nice to have been a bit warmer as it was a cold, wet, murky evening) and staff friendly and helpful. All drinks and food were very nice, all clean plates! Had a very quiet and comfortable nights sleep. An early swim and jacuzzi using the facilities followed by a very nice buffet and hot breakfast. Overall, very good...

"Fantastic views of the river and the hotel is in a lovely location."

"Personal muy atento y el lugar en donde está el hotel muy agradable."

"A home away from home. Second year we’ve been here and it is perfect! The views are to die for, Carrie and Mike are phenomenal hosts and the rooms are huge, clean and have everything you need."

"Hotel limpio, con un pub muy agradable y un fantàstico desayuno. Entorno rural."

"A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area."

"Excelente hotel. Es un castillo completamente remodelado. Muy buen servicio. Recomiendo disfrutar del parque y de la cena."

"Excellent spa facilities. Clean rooms and comfortable bed"

"Shame they ran out of hot water in the evening"
