"Eine kleine Oase am Ortsrand von Kandersteg.aussergewöhnlicher Spa -Bereich.freundliches,aufmerksames Personal, geschmackvoll und landestypisch gekleidet,Spitzen - Gastronomie und excellente Weinkarte. Diskretes Management , Familiengeführt.Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Zimmer war sehr klein und dunkel und leider nach hinten mit Blick auf Felswand und in die Jahre gekommene Holzterrasse vom Zimmer im unteren Stock. Insgesamt aber fünf-Sterne Bewertung! "

" Beautiful view from our room, This is a dated hotel, in a very beautiful spot. Has a nice pool, no hot tub, Sauna available upon request with 1 hour reservation. In our room it was a slight challenge to get in and out of the large tub to shower. Not ideal but it worked. Large windows and door that opened to a small deck. "

"Der Check In war nicht so wie erhofft Die Dame und uns gleich mal gesagt: zu früh, Zimmer noch nicht parat. Danach gab es nur den Schlüssel ohne jeglichen Kommentar wo dass Zimmer zu finden ist geschweige wann und wo es Frühstück gibt. Das restliche Personal war aber sehr freundlich und zuvor kommend. Hat tolle Auskunft gegeben und es haben sich nette Gespräche ergeben."

"Views were absolutely phenomenal, don't think there is a single room without a great view. Accommodations are simple, but well executed. Beds were comfy, breakfast (included in my stay) was awesome, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing but kind and helpful. Perfect location right below the Allmendhubel. 100% would stay here again. Traveled with a toddler and felt super comfortable."

"The hotel is located on a hill with beautiful views. It's close to the train station, restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The room was very clean. So was the hotel. The breakfast was good. The hotel has a restaurant. The food was very tasty."

"Excellent value for money. The rooms were recently updated and modern. We made a mistake in booking a double room instead of a triple, and the owner went our of her way to get a spare bed for our daughter. They have an excellent restaurant too. It was summer but the room had an electric fan which helped a lot. A/C was not needed at all, at night the temperature was cold. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future. "

"Amazing property with unmatched views of the Lauterbrunnen valley and surrounding mountains. Rooms were updated, spotless and roomy. Sauna and hot tub were a great way to end a day of hiking, biking or exploring- but what stands out for us most was the amazing staff at this property! Sonja was extraordinary and saw to our every need whether we requested assistance or not, as were the rest of the team. "We absolutely loved our stay! The room was spotless and had little closets to hang our clothes, the hotel staff were super friendly and extra helpful, and the view from our terrace was stunning. A short walk to the train station and a grocery market near by just gave us everything we were looking for during our stay in the Burner Oberland area. Thank you!"
