Character house in Gy with parking and Wifi

Gy, its ancient wine-growing village and its castle, are close to other Cités de Caractère (Towns of Character), such as Bucey-les-Gy, Fondremand, Pesmes, Marnay, and Gray. The surrounding area offers a tour of wash houses, museums, producers, crafts, and a magnificent "remarkable" garden, Acorus, 4 km away.

Also, enjoy a break offered by the Monts de Gy site, with its fitness trail and various loops accessible both on foot and by mountain bike. In a hamlet on the outskirts of Gy, a Cité de Caractère in Franche-Comté, you can settle into a recently renovated, 110 m² single-story stone house, nestled between woods and a pond, on an 8-hectare property. This former cheesemaker's workshop and home offers a warm, flea market-style decor, but with modern standards, highlighting my grandmother's old dairy and its industrial past.

In its green setting, full of charm and light, the dairy will charm you as it has all those who have enjoyed it!

It includes a spacious open-plan living room with a dining room, lounge, and fitted kitchen (55 m²). 3 bedrooms: 2 with a double bed each and one bedroom with two single beds that can be joined together. Bathroom with an oversized shower and separate toilet. Wi-Fi, beds made upon arrival.

This former dairy, built on maturing cellars, also offers two terraces: one on the old quay, below facing the century-old plane trees, and one with a pergola adjoining the accommodation at sunrise, overlooking the park and the pond. Private parking. Ping-pong, foosball, and swings.

Enjoy this stopover at La Charmotte, a place with a rich heritage history, where vacationers, cyclists, pilgrims, and workers from all over the world have come together for over 40 years to enjoy a break among the park's flowers and animals... for rare moments rich in genuine encounters... Guided tours of the garden and sharing of plants and produce according to the seasons.

Don't forget binoculars and a camera to observe the many birds of prey traveling from the woods to the pond, and the hares frolicking toward the woods.

Accommodation suitable for long stays and teleworking (fiber optics). Single-story accommodation with wheelchair-accessible doors and terrace overlooking the meadow and pond. Check-in 4:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM - 5 minutes' notice required.
