  • Pet friendly! Built in 2006 and just remodeled with new appliances and paint, this charming cabin on a private cattle and horse ranch is surrounded by fragrant sagebrush and chokecherry bushes and offers views, privacy, and peace. There is a large fenced yard, a private patio with furniture including cushions, a gas BBQ grill, and a chimenea with firewood provided. Inside, you have a full kitchen, a bedroom, and a full bathroom that includes a new washer and dryer. In the living room, you will find a new pull out queen sized couch, a recliner, a TV, and a woodburning stove. there is a dining table for 4 and an eating bar with two stools as well. The porch offers evening sun, while the patio has morning sun- a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee! We have plenty of parking, so if you are bringing a boat, your snowmobile trailer, or your side by sides, you will have no problem parking and turning around. This is the only cabin on our ranch other than our private home, which is barely visible from the porch of the cabin due to large bushes and trees. You are less than 15 minutes from downtown Gunnison and Gunnison Regional Airport, and about 40 minutes from Mt. Crested Butte. You can also drive East on Highway 50 and be at Monarch Mountain Ski Resort in 35 minutes. Blue Mesa Lake is less than 30 minutes away. Our gate is located between mile markers 167 and mile marker 168 on US HWY 50. Google map may be slightly off, so look for the gate between those mile markers. We have added photos of our gate and wagon wheel mail box to help you recognize us.

One of the best places I've stayed in. Outstanding location just outside Gunnison, clean and well-equipped cabin with everything I needed, and - best of all - a lovely fenced in yard for my dog. The setting and scenery were beautiful and peaceful; the hosts were superhelpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Had a great relaxing stay at their ranch. Brad and Michelle are great hosts and down-to-earth people. Property was comfortable and very nice, yard for the dog was excellent. Great place to get away and relax. Highly Recommended if you want peace and quiet!!!

This place is outstanding. Clean, comfortable, well equipped. Friendly hosts, beautiful setting, and so cute! We spent two nights and I could have spent a week. I often give 5 stars for a place being accurately listed and priced appropriately. This place is extraordinary! Don’t miss it.

Comfortable cabin, beds, etc. Loved the patio with scenic views and lots of chair options. Kitchen was well equipped. Enjoyed watching the ranching activities and the horses and mule.

Our favorite VRBO! Easy check-in and check-out. Great communication with owners. Private, clean, beautiful space. Being able to bring our dogs and have a fenced in area for them was really the icing on the cake. Next time we'll plan to stay longer!!

The kitchen is great but they only have non stick pots and pans that are well worn and flakes of non stick chemicals could get in your food. Bed is small but it’s cozy. Great shower. Comfortable furniture and was adorably decorated. Patio outback with fenced area for pets. I saw several hummingbirds, and other various birds. Limited parking area but it is a cozy small cabin. It would be a great place for a honeymoon.

Enjoyed our time staying at this cozy cabin. Hosts are attentive and friendly. It is quiet, beautiful scenery and a quick 10 minute drive to the town of Gunnison. The quintessential western ranch getaway.

Michelle and Brad have a little sanctuary, it is such a peaceful place, it is a place to unwind and just relax. the house was very comfortable, set up well. my wife and I had such a good time we didn't want to leave. if you take a dog there is a back yard that is fenced in with a nice yard. This is a working ranch, and Brad and Michelle work hard, they are great down to earth people and very welcoming. Gunnison is only 20 mins down the road with anything you could need, there are so many county roads to go roadtrippin on and the scenery is unmatched. We will be back to this wonderful hidden gem. Thanks Michelle and Brad!!!

A great little cabin!

This is a great little cabin. Very comfortable very clean and plenty of space for a couple would definitely visit again if we are in the area thanks for a great visit.

This place was exactly as pictured..very comfortable accommodations. Well stocked kitchen.. the patio was an added bonus. Our host were very friendly and welcoming. It truly is a beautiful place.. we would love to return one day..

Relaxing stay

My husband and I greatly enjoyed a relaxing stay at the cabin. The hosts were very welcoming and provided us excellent ideas for places to eat and to explore.
