"What a beautiful property with a gorgeous room! We also enjoyed the extra rooms: library, music, etc. They were decorated very nice; we felt like we were staying in a castle! The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh."

"Great experience, exceeded my expectations over value for money. The bunks have privacy screens around the head and feet of the bed, which made sharing a room feel less invasive. Music can be heard from the bar around the front of the building (it’s summer, so we had the windows open) but it wasn’t an issue, my days were so packed with walking and exploring that I slept really well! "This is a wonderful property. Close to the attractions of the old city, but away from the hustle and bustle. You will feel like you're in an oasis amid the crowds. We were three people traveling and had a nice sized family room. The toiletries are fantastic, and if I'd had room in my suitcase, I would have bought a bottle of the lotion. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable."

We were only there one night and didn't get to use the library or frequent the bar. But we want to next time. Set in a safe neighborhood within walking distance of the tram and buses. Great value!"
