We really enjoyed it!

The condo was beautiful, there are a few areas that let you know it is a little older that could be easily touched up such as some blemishes in the master bath, some rust on some stainless steel drains. The dryer squeaks loudly and we did not have pillowcases for some square pillows in the closet stored for extra bedding. Also, be aware you can book directly through Vacasa and save in VRBO fees. Now, having said all that, we really enjoyed ourselves. Master bed super comfy and there is a huge deck directly facing the ocean, and I honestly could have just lived there! The condo was very well stocked with bedding and towels and kitchen materials. The grounds were also very well kept and gorgeous. A very nice resort! Only 10 minutes from Ft Morgan Fishing pier, and about 5 from Tacky Jacks and the Sassy Bass Market which has liquor and a small grocery/ general store. Would we go back? Absolutely! Would we book through VRBO? No. I could have saved 150 bucks for my three nights booking direct.

Good property, need improvement

One of the fans/lights didn’t work in bedroom, they said there was a king bed but it was 2 twins put together, 2 out of 4 light bulbs in bathroom worked.

Amazing!

Absolutely loved the condo and location! The grounds are beautiful and perfect beach access! Check in had a hiccup but was resolved fairly quickly! We will be glad to stay again!

Perfect Family Location

The Beach Club is the perfect family location. The beach was not overly crowded, like most vacation spots on the main Gulf Shores drag. We ate out at local restaurants 2 nights and ordered out from a restaurant on the premise. This resort has all that you need, so that you don’t need to leave.

Great short trip

We spent a short stay at the beach club to check out the resort. The condo was beautiful and had ever we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool right outside the building. Vacasa kept us well informed of some maintenance going on at the resort.

Beautiful property!

Everything was easy!! The only drawback we had was the washing machine didn’t work and we did not have access to the clubhouse. We thought the clubhouse was included but the cost was around 45 dollar a day. Overall, it was a very clean/nice place to stay!

The perfect place

I’ve submitted a very detailed review for vacasa already, so I’ll just summarize here. This place was awesome. It was clean, and the ocean/beach views were amazing! I highly suggest playing the board game provided by the host called “quelf”. It made for a great and hilarious family night with my 13 year old daughter. The beach was not crowded at all. The water was clear and warm. Just right for this time of year. Overall, I highly recommend this place. No complaints whatsoever. We will be back!

Lovely location

The condo was really nice. We stayed in the Catalina building on the 8th floor with elevators 10ft away so it was easy to take everything to the condo without struggling to navigate carts around the whole place. The only issue I had was that the bottom of the shower liner to the 2nd bathroom was really gross, to the point I was going to throw it away myself because how bad it was. However, I appreciated the fact that not only was I getting text messages asking how our stay and check in was so far, someone actually called me to see how things were going. I made mention of the shower liner, and within an hour they had someone come by to replace it, and check in on other things before they left to ensure everything was in order. 4 of us stayed here, and there was plenty of space. We loved the balcony, and ate breakfast out there several times. One thing to note if you stay here and book through this site: This is an actual "resort", and there were so many activities that they have going on that we weren't aware of. I guess because you're booking via 3rd party so they probably aren't aware of all the property has to offer outside what the condo owners provide.. so here it is: There is a clubhouse that you can pay about $12 per person per day (8am-6pm) and have access to the big pool in the middle of the property, indoor pool, a gym, sauna, steam room, and a game room for kids. Of course with additional pay, they also have a restaurant, snack bar, and a spa with massages, manicures, etc. They have tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, 3 pools all with hot tubs, and during the peak season, at the front of the property they have like 5 food trucks with different cuisines so you don't have to drive 15mins into town for dinner. It was overall a really nice location that we were pleasantly surprised by. We've stayed at several condo locations over the years in Gulf Shores but this is probably my favorite and we'll definitely be back.

Would have been nice if not for the construction

Our condo was very nice, clean and roomy. Kitchen was fully stocked. Great weather and the beach was clean. The restaurant was very nice and had great food. We enjoyed the food trucks and entertainment the resort had each night. We had intermittent construction all week on our balcony, which we knew before arriving but the balcony was dirty with the construction. The pool was also dirty from the construction. Our balcony doors did not lock so we were concerned with construction workers having access to our condo and belongings. One afternoon we came from the beach to eat lunch and there was a construction worker in our condo. We asked what he was doing there and he couldn’t give us an answer because he didn’t speak English. It was our understanding that the workers would not be inside our condo during our stay, only on the balcony. Needless to say it was disturbing. After contacting Spectrum resorts and Vacasa, with whom we booked the condo, all said they didn’t think a worker should not have been in the condo and told us to contact someone else. We felt like we were getting the run around and not a straight answer. Once the construction work is done, this problem should be resolved. There were three elevators, only two worked and at one point only one worked, which made for a lot of waiting. We had a great time despite the construction inconvenience.

Nice place but check the details...

Be careful who you book through when staying at the beach club. Many details were left out. Unless you book through Spectrum, you have to pay an additional $10/person per day to access the gym, sauna, club pool, and arcade. No one let us know that there would be ongoing construction all over the property, as well as elevators being out of service. We never got access to the Wifi until two days left and it was a public, unsecured network. That was after several unfulfilling emails with customer support. The unit was very nice and clean, but I would not book through this company ever again.

Cute little place

Everything was perfect except check in process. The information sent to me didn’t have the building letter or the room number. The gate guard wouldn’t let us in until we had that information so we had to turn around. I was on hold for 30 minutes before I got to anyone and then we were finally able to check in. Rocky start but the place is nice and right on the beach.

Beautiful condo beautiful view

Woke up to dolphins the first morning. The condo was clean the only thing I can say that I didn’t like was the floor was really sticky with bare feet, and the sheets and blankets in the main master bedroom smelt like they haven’t been washed in a few uses, but I washed them as we were leaving. The masterbed tv wasn’t working the buttons on the back of the tv were broken from people being too rough making the input menu be stuck on, I wish there was more to cook with for spices and dishes or a grill. Over all the condo was beautiful, the view was beautiful. The drive down the island to the condo was a pretty insane drive, but well worth the distance for the quiet and privacy you get in return.
