This house participates in our Fresh Bed Program which provides freshly laundered coverlets with each new arrival. These coverlets provide a lightweight and comfortable sleeping experience, no matter the season.


Pet Friendly 3 bedroom beach house in Gulf Shores with its own private boat launch and dock. This freshly painted eclectic style beach house is in the West Beach area of Gulf Shores right behind Pier 33 Grocery. It is 3 blocks from Beach Access and walking distance to downtown Gulf Shores shops and restaurants like the Hangout and Pink Pony Pub yet set back in a quiet neighborhood away from the main beach road. This is the perfect beach house if you enjoy sitting on a deck watching back bay sunsets with Fido right beside you in the fenced back yard.

Sunset Daze is 3 bedrooms 2.5 baths sleeps 10 and offers free WiFi. You will find a king bed in the master queen and twin in one guest bedroom and a queen in the other bedroom along with a new queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is also a separate study to retreat with a good book for some peace and quiet. Have a small boat? Do you enjoy fishing while on your beach vacation? Well bring your boat down and launch right out of the back yard into the inlet that goes into Little Lagoon.

This beach house is a perfect option if you're looking to bring your fur baby and come down for a relaxing vacation with family and friends. It's also a great vacation rental option if visiting for the Hangout Music Festival or Shrimp Festival that both take place in the heart of Gulf Shores and walking distance from Sunset Daze.

Monthly rentals available Monthly November to March 1. Minimum age to rent is 25.

This property is pet friendly for one (1) dog only with a size restriction up to 40 lbs. Breed restrictions may apply. If applicable, the pet fee is $150.00 in addition to the reserved price of the property. Total parking for 3 vehicles (5 if tandem), with 2 covered parking spots under the house.

During the spring break season, between the dates of March 1 through April 30 of each year, the person booking the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must be present to physically check in at our office with your government issued ID present.

The house was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We felt very much at home. It was also immaculately clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The view from the deck, as well as the dock, was great and the neighborhood was quiet with a very short walk to the beach. The grassy backyard was good for our dog, which made it nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Disgusting home

This property is nothing like the description. Staring point is the entrance door, first impression not so good, very dirty, the whole house was just disgusting, the hand rails were completely black, floors, bathrooms, showers, ceiling fans, AC grills so duty I had to take pictures and sent them to the property manager. Housekeeping (one lady) and try to clean for 30 mins. This home is run down with not maintenance at all. I ADVICE GUEST TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Seems the property manager don’t do the job. Also has creatures (rouches) everywhere. How sad to fly from Washington State, paid for a good place and find this horrible place.

Family Ties

Upon arriving at the Sunset Daze it was easy check in. Close to the beach and a super nice market I think called Pier 33. The house is in good shape. I can’t applaud the mattresses. I think if anything that was the negative about the stay. I still gave it a five star because the mattresses didn’t ruin our stay. However, if you want a good rest experience I would not recommend. The furnishings were mostly updated, but I took into consideration that it is a pet friendly house and honestly I would consider the furnishings nice for that reason. Overall, I would stay here again.

Great Location

This is a great property, it was well equipped and clean upon arrival. The location is awesome right on the water and minutes from all the activities in gulf shores. You can just cross the street if you want to enjoy the beach as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Stay

We had a great trip! It was our first time to Gulf Shores and we loved every minute of it! The property was in a great location and fit our family perfectly! Two things. 1. If you bring your pets be VERY careful of all the stickers in the front and backyard. We had to pull a ton of them out of our dogs paws. 2. Although a great place - you need to bring everything you need to the property. Beach towels, beach chairs, plastic baggies, blow dryer, salt and pepper.... and anything else you can think of that you would need for a week. The property manager gave us a list of things to bring but we didn’t realize that it was going to be so empty. Luckily there was a local grocery mart on the corner of the street to pick up anything that “came up” last minute😀 Although they didn’t guarantee it- the property management company was even able to get us in a little early since we had been in the car for about 9 hours. We will certainly go back! Thank you Young’s Suncoast!

Late summer vacation

The property is very nice, be prepared to traverse lots of stairs but that’s a necessary evil along the water. The house was beautiful and nicely laid out, the deck was very nice. The only downfall was the grass looked like it hadn’t been cut it weeks. It REALLY needs to be mowed. The grill was kinda cheap but functional. Overall a nice place very close to attractions just needs a few tweaks.

Beautiful view in a quiet street

We had a great stay here. Beach was close only 3 blocks away and the access to the pier 33 grocery was awesome. They have everything you need. Bahama bob’s was great and within walking distance. All the restaurants were crowded but you need to go early and enjoy the wait. The house was perfect but definitely needs a better grill!

Nice Property, some short comings.

Home could use a little more cleaning. AC unit vent was disgusting as was the hand rail up the stairs. Grill stunk, we bought our own. Next door neighbor on the left believe they own the ocean in front of their dock. Asked that I not fish in front of it, I did anyway. They seem to be sensitive about their dock light. The decks were awesome, I loved that we were completely fenced in for our dogs, AC blew hard and cold, all TV's worked and so did the internet. We will stay here again.

Over all our stay was great! The house had everything we needed and for the most part was clean. This house definitely needs a deep detail clean and not just the general like it has been getting. Also the neighbors to the left of the house are not the best. We were hanging out on the dock and it was about 6pm when the man came to the fence and said that one of his neighbors called him and said if we dont turn the music off then they was going to call the law. Well we know the law so call them! It was not another neighbor it was just him. The law was called but nothing came of it because we was not breaking the law. Officer said the music was not too loud at all. The 2 dogs he had that barked literally the entire time was a problem though. The same neighbor tried to tell us we could not fish off the dock because it was to close to his dock. Yes we fished anyways. Again we know the law. The yard on this property could also use some work. Bushes need to be trimed and grass needs to be cut. We would stay here again but I am sure the neighbors hate that this is a vacation rental property.

Overall good experience

The house would have been perfect if the master bath would have been functional and the property manager would have communicated this. It was rather inconvenient for my family to have to share one shower. Other than this issue, the house was great.

Great time!

We had a wonderful time at this house over spring break. Our kids loved it and we even brought our 2 small dogs and they loved it! It was so nice having the yard fenced for them to run around. One of our dogs enjoys the water quite a bit so we had to keep an eye on her getting in and out from the boat ramp. The yard needed mowed and we even requested that as soon as we got there but our request was ignored. :( That was the only issue we had. The home was very cozy and well stocked with cooking utensils. We rented bikes for the kids at Coyote bike rentals (they were great!) and they really enjoyed riding the bikes all over. The location is great and close to most things. The beach access was only a short walk away. Great trip!

Very peaceful

I loved the location of the property and sitting on the back porch looking at the lagoon and watching the birds and fish. It was a short walk to the beach and shops! Everything you needed for cooking in the kitchen was provided and they was plenty of space in the house but we spent most of our time outdoors. We even took our dog and they was plenty of space for him to roam outside. Really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend this house to anybody wanting to relax by the lagoon and enjoy the sunsets. Plus if you love seafood I highly recommend Bahama Bob’s they have the best fish and the waiter they was excellent very friendly and right there if you needed anything! And you have to try the Ruby Slipper they has fantastic food!
