Welcome to Lazy Latitudes, your SWEET SPOT in the sand! This pet-friendly, 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom beach house is nestled just a short stroll to the beach! Located in the Morgantown Community in Fort Morgan, you will have access to 2 community pools, 4 tennis courts and beach access! Lazy Latitudes is the perfect home for your next family beach vacation! 

About Lazy Latitudes
 
You will vacation in style with 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms and a bunk nook! Step inside and enjoy windows galore featuring views of beach houses and gulf vistas. The large, open living area features comfortable denim sofas and a flat screen to watch your favorite movie. Cook up your favorite recipe in the chef’s kitchen with stainless appliances including an icemaker and a breakfast bar. Plenty of room to dine inside at the custom hand-crafted dining table, or dine al fresco on the covered porch. The large porch faces the gulf and offers plenty of lounging room to soak in the views and relax with your favorite cocktail. 

The main master bedroom faces the gulf and offers a pillowtop mattress for the best night's sleep! The master spa bath has a double vanity, soaker tub and trendy shower with river rock! Two mini master bedrooms offer queen pillowtop and private en suite bathrooms. The kids will love the whale’s tale bedroom with a twin over a full bunk bed plus trundle- sleeps 4 and a private bath.  
 
Enjoy all the extras that come with this FUN and TRENDY beach house. Plenty of covered parking, sand pit for the kids, a highchair and pack n play, full and private outdoor shower and grilling area to cook up your favorite steak! This home is pet friendly for up to two pets with additional pet fees.

The location is great for those who really want to be far from the hustle and bustle of a city. Set far apart from the noise of the main road with only a few neighbors, you’ll feel like you have an entire neighborhood to yourself. It’s the calm and quiet of Fort Morgan, where people go when they want nothing to worry about!

Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a quiet beach community away from the crowds and congestion. On the peninsula, guests will find the following restaurants: Tacky Jacks 2, Sassy Bass, The Coast Restaurant, The Village Hideaway, and The Kiva Grill. Guests can play golf at the Peninsula or at Kiva Dunes. There is an accessible boat launch and marina at the Gulf Shores Marina at Fort Morgan. Last but not least, there is a historical Civil War Site to explore at the Fort Morgan Historic Site. There is something for everyone in Fort Morgan!

We love people of all ages, and we want everyone to enjoy our homes.  However, we do require that an adult 25 years or older reserve the home and be present at the home during your entire stay. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.  We have no exception to this policy.

Lazy Latitudes

Really like the way the property is laid out 4 bathrooms is a big plus. The place had a few maintenance issues. Several of the inside door knobs were loose. The refrigerator didn't keep the food cold. One of TV's in the bedroom didn't work. In another bedroom the remote didn't work. All of the outside garbage can were full three of the four days we were there.

Great Quiet spot near the ocean

This place was just what we wanted! Plenty of space to spread out, in a quiet neighborhood, walking distant to the beach! Be prepared to climb stairs to lovely home! Small kitchen appliances that covered all our cooking needs. We cooked a good amount and found great local seafood nearby as well!

Great home in Fort Morgan, AL

Overall, my family, friends and I enjoyed the house very much. There was lots of room everywhere and we really favored the open kitchen and the back balcony area. I would stay here again for sure. Some things I noticed were some leftover trash in our bathroom trash can, a tiny spider was found on the pillows of three of the four bedrooms and there was some gunk buildup on the faucet of the bathroom sink right where the water comes out. I would still stay here again but these were just little things I noticed. Also, walking to the beach at night can be interesting because of the huge flies that may attack you. It was definitely interesting but we had a great time!

Spring Break 2023

We enjoyed a nice relaxing stay at Lazy Lattitudes. We were able to kick back and enjoy the beach and the pool. The house was spacious and comfortable. Definitely would recommend for a family get away!

Morgan Town Star

Lazy Latitudes has everything you need for a relaxing beach stay on Fort Morgan. The home is spacious with a terrific porch for morning coffee as the sun rises or an evening toast as the sun sets. Details that made things nice were the tile floors and a brand new broom/dustpan to quickly sweep up sand. The kitchen is large with many places to sit for a meal. Nice big closets to store your suitcase and hang up clothes. Morgan Town neighborhood is lovely with easy beach access, tennis/pickle ball courts and two pretty pools. Thank you for hosting!

Loved this pet friendly location

Great location and our pups loved being able To go to the beach! It did smell a little like cigar smoke but we lit a candle and turned the fans on. We had a great time at this beach house!

Property was great, very clean and convenient. The only issue we had is that the gear in the gear locker downstairs wasn’t in the best condition, but it sounds like it was included in the listing by accident.

Very nice beach house. It was clean, well equipped with essentials, and everything worked.

We had a great time! The house was very spacious and met our needs and expectations! The beach was great! We swam in the smaller of the two pools, and it was nice and clean. We would stay there again.

Great Family Vaca House

Great house for a big family! There are two pools but one was closed for our whole stay. The beach is beautiful and clean. It is a nice little walk to the beach and pool but definitely not bad. Be prepared that the house is a decent drive to get to Gulf Shores but we didn't mind. The wifi wasn't the best but it was nice to disconnect and really enjoy family.

Relaxing week

Great relaxing week. Kitchen has everything you could need. Short 1/4 mile walk to beach but would recommend anyone staying to BRING bug spray or have someone drive you to the boardwalk especially with little ones. Terrible biting flys. Never experienced them before and we would definitely say that was the worst part of the trip. They sting horribly and are relentless! The house itself was great and the beach was beautiful.

7th year staying in Morgantown; This was the best property we have stayed at.

We have been staying in Morgantown for the last 7 years and this property has become our favorite. The house was clean, airy, spacious well equipped kitchen (The kitchen was very nice) great location. We have two medium size dogs so we are always looking for pet friendly vacation rentals and this one was wonderful and nice and big and we were able to put their crates together in the dining room area which they loved. Really this was one of our best stays, would highly recommend this property, and would stay here again.

Holiday get away

The house was a great size and layout for our family of 7 and 2 dogs. We were not impressed with cleanliness and smell. The house smelt like smoke and even after leaving, our clothes still smell. The vents were very dirty. The kitchen wasn’t stocked as well as the previous house we stayed in right down the street. There were no wash cloths for the kitchen, the hot pads were very used and dirty. Our stay wasn’t bad, just expected a little more from a previous stay right down the street.

Holiday Magic

We enjoyed a magical beach pre- Christmas week at Bees Knees in Morgantown. The 3.5 bedroom/3 bath house felt like home to the 9 of us. The kitchen was well equipped, the family room was stocked with games, and the view of the beach and water blessed us with breathtaking sunsets. Harris Management graciously worked with the owner to give my ‘teachers and students’ plenty of WiFi for classroom Zoom. Thank you Harris for the perfect beach get away. JKilgore

Memory maker at the Bees Knees!!!

We had a picture perfect week of beautiful weather and gorgeous water!! The only negative was they could have upgraded the mattresses, the older ones in our group preferred the sofas to the beds!
