Grandview Holidays is proud to present Sandpiper Sunset, the perfect spot for your next beach getaway!

Situated in a beautiful, spacious area of Gulf Shores with crystal clear water and white beaches.

Sandpiper Sunset has 2 separate sleeping areas, each containing two bedrooms and a bathroom. This design is perfect for families to enjoy vacation together. The main living space is an open floor plan with comfortable, well designed furniture, plenty of seating and a well stocked kitchen. There are also water views of both Little Lagoon and the Gulf of Mexico.

Outside, there are two large decks from which to enjoy the water views, lounge and enjoy a good book or take in a morning sunrise with a cup of coffee.

We are surrounded by non-rental houses so peace and quiet is assured. You will be able to enjoy the relaxing tranquil waters of the bay and sleep peacefully at night.

On the Lagoon side, there is a private beach with dock, deck chairs and pavilion that reaches out over the lagoon. Fish off the dock, enjoy easy access to the lagoon or just lounge during sunset. This is one of our favorite parts of the house.

We also provide kayaks, boogie boards, a paddle boat and paddle boards to enjoy the Lagoon. Bicycles are available to explore the peninsula and there is a bike path on the West Beach. Use all at your own risk.

The beach house was exactly as described. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever encountered in a rental or a hotel. I wished I could take them home with me! The hosts seemed very kind, the location between the lagoon and the gulf offered the best of both. We spent most of our time riding the excellent bike trails in the area. The kitchen had everything you could want including a spice rack holding about two dozen different spices. As lovers of Italian style pizza, we enjoyed Crico’s twice!

We had a wonderful time with our family of five! We had plenty of room inside to spread out, the beds were comfortable, and we loved the views of the lagoon and the ocean from the front porch! They provide everything you can imagine to have a great time at the beach in the storage closet! It was so nice to have beach chairs, sand toys, beach wagon, etc available for us to use! The location was perfect! We were still close to restaurants around 6-10 minutes but it was very private and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves! We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again next time we come to Gulf Shores!

Great hosts! The property had everything we needed to keep all ages busy (adults, teens, pre-teens and some younger kids). There were a couple of random issues (nothing big) but the hosts immediately took care of things! Very responsive!!!

Absolutely wonderful!

My family travels to the Gulf Shores area every year and we all agreed that this was our favorite place we have stayed. Perfect size for our family of four (five including our pup). The house was so welcoming and lived up to the description. Having the bay with a small beach literally in the back yard was perfect! My husband and two boys fished off the dock every day and our dog played in the bay every chance she could. The beach is directly across the street and we basically had a section all to ourselves. The provided beach supplies were wonderful to have and the kayaks and paddle boards were great to take out on the bay in the in the early evenings. The owner was so kind and even sent a new beach umbrella for us that arrived the same day we did… she went above and beyond! We will for sure be back to Sandpiper Sunset!

A Great Family Escape, we’ll definitely be back!

The Sandpiper Sunset was exactly what our extended family vacation needed. We were looking for a single story house to accommodate grandparents (the house had to have minimal stairs), grandkids (3 teenagers and a little kid), and 3 adults but we also wanted to have a water front property and preferably a big porch. Well this house has all of that plus paddle boards, life jackets, a beach wagon, and so many beach & lagoon accessories. Anytime we contacted the owners with questions they rapidly responded and were really awesome to work with. Definitely 5 star owners that care about who stays at their house. The house is located about 6minutes to the “busy” area of Gulf Shores. It was super easy to drive to the Hangout, park our cars, enjoy the beach and have lunch. Then we would drive back to the house, walk to the “sea shell” beach, swim in the ocean, pick sea shells then head back to the lagoon where we would paddle board and hang out at the fire pit. This area of town is quiet and peaceful. It was AMAZING!! It really was exactly what we were needing to reconnect as a family. We definitely will be planning to come back!!

Not the greatest

We were so excited to stay at the beach house because my parents brought their kids and grandkids to it many years ago. We stayed in this house for years and years and now it was my turn to bring my children and their children. When we arrived, the kids room with the bunk, smelled like urine the bunkbeds were not made and after making them, we realized that the quilt set had urine on them in the room across from the kids room. The curtains have urine Stains on them. The smell was awful. The refrigerator had a terrible smell as well. The trash service did not come take the cans down the driveway, we didn’t have much trash so it was fine but I wanted to let you know. The gourmet kitchen was lacking, utensils, and cutlery, clean cutting boards It felt very mismatched and like pieces that used in someone’s own home or put there. The house felt very strange with the couch, covering up a little part of the door. They’re not being a table in the kitchen. Everything felt strange. We were not able to open the blinds to the doors because of the magnet strip. The back door stuck, and was very hard to open. The kids could not open it, and when they did they stumbled backward. Overall we knew the location of the house as we’ve stayed there many times, love having the lagoon, the walk to the beach can be difficult if you have small children and carry a lot of things over.

Beautiful and private location

We had a wonderful time staying on this property. The beach is close and the lagoon closer. We had everything we needed in the house. The beach toys, chairs, and towels were all appreciated as we didn't need to bring them. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to book again in the future.

Fabulous place!!!

We booked a last minute get away and so glad we did. The house is beautiful inside and out. Location is primo! Great lagoon and dock, walk to the beach to pick up shells and read by the Gulf! Clean and very well appointed. Saved this address to recommend to family and friends. Will stay here many more times.

Gulf Shores Family Vacation

We had an amazing time on our trip! The beach toys and chairs made such a difference! The location is unbelievable! The beach by the house was so peaceful and not crowded at all even on a holiday weekend. The outdoor shower was a huge plus! We traveled with my Mom and 5 adult children and it was the trip of a lifetime. Highly recommend staying here!!

Exactly The Relaxation We Needed

This was our first trip to Gulf Shores and I have to say, the house was amazing. It was exactly what we needed for the family. Everything was spotless upon arrival and anything we needed was available. Despite some construction work going on a couple doors down on both sides of the house, it was still very peaceful. We got to enjoy the kayak and paddle board, but also just took in some quiet time on the dock, watching fish jump out of the water. The beach was across the street and we were able to go through an access point that appears to have belonged to a house that is no longer there. Not sure if we were *supposed* to do that, but we did. :) And the beach was very sparsely populated. We didn't have anyone near us for at least 50-75 yards in both directions. We setup "camp" and just chilled, enjoying the waves. We even saw a couple sharks (not sure what kind) but they didn't bother us. In fact, we never saw them when someone was in the water. I highly recommend eating at Perch restaurant. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. We also got some boils from the fish market and that was amazing. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. I can easily recommend this place for anyone wanting to enjoy Gulf Shores without being in the heart of the action. (And believe me, The Hangout had some sort of weekend party going on and driving through that at times was...interesting.)

Perfect spot for our weekend!

We were in town for our sons wedding which was only a few houses away. Great location for that. We didn’t really have time to enjoy all the things that this property has to offer, but they were certainly available for us to use. We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to come back when we can just kick back and relax!.,

Great stay!

This property is everything it says it is! Here are the reasons for my 5 star review: Location - secluded away from the hustle and bustle but about 5 miles to “town”. Right across the street from the beach, maybe a 3 minute walk. Quiet, uncrowded, private and secluded. Lagoon - so fun! We fished from the dock everyday and caught redfish, catfish and some other kind I’m not sure of. We also saw jellyfish, large blue crab, hermit crabs, stingrays and needlefish. We often just relaxed on the dock and other times we used the kayaks, paddle boat or floats. I did jump in a couple of times and quickly swam to the shore but I personally wouldn’t spend much time hanging out in the water. The sun rising and setting are worth your time investment! Amenities - there is a storage shed FULL of everything you need for the beach or lagoon! Seriously, don’t pack all the beach stuff in your car - they have it! Beach chairs, life jackets, floats, umbrella, bikes, air pumps, nets, boogie boards, sand toys, cornhole game and a wagon to tote it all! Clean and comfy - so nicely decorated and everything was clean. The king beds are nice and comfy and the rooms are well laid out. The bunk room beds aren’t as comfy, but that room is for the younger folks in your group. The layout is perfect and the rooms stay cool. I will advise the eastern part of the house is cooler than the western part. Lower area - Outdoor shower works great and in a private area. We did not use it because the water was really warm so we just hosed off with the cold water. There is a grill area, storage shed, and a fire pit which we didn’t use because we couldn’t find any matches or lighter. Great place! Will definitely recommend or book again.

Excellent Location!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Steps from the beach and the harbor where we fished and used the kayaks and paddle boards! Kitchen was excellent!
