Bayfront Property - Sunsets, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing

Unique waterfront property with gorgeous views. Private pier for fishing, viewing spectacular sunsets, and watching dolphins and birds. This property has two separate cottages which makes it ideal for traveling with multiple parties or to just to have extra space to spread out. Main cottage consists of two private bedrooms (each with a queen bed), a full bathroom, and a pull out sofa in the living room for additional sleeping space. The separate guest cottage suite includes an efficiency kitchen, combined living/bedroom area (king bed), and luxury bathroom. Main cottage has a quaint screened porch for relaxing and enjoying the views. Kitchen has granite countertops, all new appliances, and is equipped with everything needed to prep and serve a meal. Enjoy the peacefulness of the Ft Morgan peninsula at this location while only 15 minutes away from all that Gulf Shores has to offer. Championship golf and fishing charters within 10 miles.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 3-4 vehicles on site.

* Amenities include free WiFi, smart tv's in bedrooms/living room, fully equipped kitchen, screened porch, sunset pier.

* Bed/bath linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.

* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, one roll paper towels/toilet paper, and travel-sized soaps per bathroom.

* Check-in is 4 p.m. or later. (no exceptions)

* Check-out by 10 a.m. (you will be charged if you stay in the property later than 10 a.m.)

Poor aesthetic, poor quality. Over paid for this place. Location was good. We checked out a day earlier. Needed to be able to sleep prior to returning to work.

My pet Maggie does great! This is our 2nd time to visit your home. We love the pier. Everything was good. Host was especially helpful and answered our text promptly. My ONLY suggestion might be for some rails on the pier and to cut some brush when pulling out of the driveway. Love, Love the bathtub, but is hard to get out of if you had a disability, I don't and did fine, but might want to put a hand bar somewhere. I figure3 that is why somone grabbed the faucet and had partially pulled it our of the wall, which we sent you a pic of so you'd know it wasnt' us. All in all we loved it!

What a cute place. We had a great vacation with our adult kids and one of our dogs. Will definitely consider again. Thanks for hosting us. A/C was good could be better in the guest house, but works okay. Porch could be a little more inviting but also works. All in all very relaxing. Thanks again. Very clean.

The houses were so cute! We had a great time and the views were beautiful!! Everything was clean, the air conditioning in both houses kept you good an cold, I was so glad I was able to take my dog with me! My husband had a good time fishing, he caught a lot of catfish, some croakers and some others I’m not sure what they were lol. Shonna is very nice and answered my questions very fast, I’d rent from her again. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Bayfront Property

Everything about this place was beautiful. The owner is friendly and answered all my questions. I loved watching the dophins in the bay each morning. Everything was clean and neat. Everything work and we had no issues. Will be staying again.

Cabin on the bay

Main cabin is small but comfortable. We had problems with the AC but it was quickly taken care of. One of the bedrooms AC duct did not work so it was a little warm but overall a nice stay. The smaller cabin was much nicer and AC was super cold. Flloring in main cabin needs replaced and shelving or some place to put things in the bathroom would be nice. There wasnt even room to put your toothbrush or toothpas

Week Long Vacation

House was great - no complaints at all! It fit our family and needs perfectly! Great fishing and cozy atmosphere. House was well stocked with everything we needed. My only complaint is with the unfriendly neighbor in the blue house next door. He is obviously not a fan of living next to a VRBO rental. Stinks to pay that much to rent a house for a relaxing week and have to deal with someone who is obviously annoyed by your presence…

Slow down and Relax

We loved our stay at Blue Crab Bungalow. It was so peaceful and quiet . My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock and he caught a few fish . I got just what I wanted to do relax and unwind . It was perfect for what we wanted for our anniversary trip .

Clean and cozy!

This rental was literally all we needed on our trip! The house itself is kind of small but the comfort and cleanliness made up for that 10 fold! The ac was able to keep up with the sweltering heat of the Gulf which in my experience with rentals is unheard of. The tiny house was a perfect place for my traveling teenagers! It gave them a sense of being on their own without being unsupervised. They were able to go and come freely in and out without disturbing grumpy seniors in the main house. The house itself is nestled on the bay. Not too far away from Gulf shores and all the things to be done. The beach isn't too far as well. I particularly liked the bay. Dolphins would visit in the evenings which made it so much more special. All in all the experience was amazing. 10/10 would stay again.

Exactly as described and pictured

This is a wonderful place to stay. We really enjoyed our visit. The house and the smaller cottage are just as described and pictured in the listing. The host communicates extremely well when you book and with check in/ check out instructions. You can even see the dolphins playing and jumping in the water right from the house, and enjoying fishing on your own private pier ! The only thing I will say is that I would not suggest this property for folks traveling with young children for as you can see in the pictures there are no safety railings on the pier and a child could easily as well run right off the edge of the yard and fall onto the rocks into the water about a good 5 foot drop. The bathtub in the guest cottage needs some sort of an anti slip installed on the bottom of the tub. The tub is very deep and hard to get out of once in it. All in all we had a great stay and plan on returning when the weather is a bit cooler and not when it is in the mid 90's , LOL

Recent stay

The location is fantastic! The property manager is great. The AC works really well in both houses. The cottage was clean. The main house was not as clean as it should have been. There were spiderwebs in the corners. The pier is not conducive to swimming, there is no ladder to get out of the water with. I found this to be a hazard if someone falls in. The kitchen has no tuber ware, knives are rusty and scissors were broken. It smelled like someone had fried food in the main house. The neighbor came over to let us know he had called the owner to let them know we had a dog which we paid for to come. He was not very friendly… Both houses had ants (we went and got any spray to kill them) The porch is gross and not clean at all. Hope this helps.

Family getaway

We had an absolutely great time. 2 little bungalows me my husband and my 2 youngest children stayed in the house and my oldest daughter and her family stayed in the outside bungalow. Everything was great, very clean. We love the dock. Love the sound of the water in the morning. Things were great.

So enjoyed our stay at Blue Crab...just what we needed. Fishing was great, saw dolphins several times, birds, breeze, water..., food, ocean...just about says it all. Was a wonderful trip and hope to go back soon! The place was perfect.
