The Sugar Beach complex is gulf front and has everything you need for a vacation in paradise. Three outdoor pools and a children's pool offer a variety of places to swim. Beach service and a snack bar ensure that your vacation is optimally relaxing and carefree. Tennis courts on the property allow the whole family to get out their rackets and have fun.

What is provided during your stay: Linens are provided, as well as a starter set of amenities that will typically last for the first 24 hours of your stay. The amenity starter pack includes the following items: one dishwasher detergent packet, one miniature bottle of dishwashing liquid soap, one roll of paper towels, one trash can liner in each trash can, one packet of powder laundry detergent, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one bath soap bar in each full bathroom, and one hand soap bar in each bathroom. Each property is set up with four bath towels, four washcloths, two hand towels, and one bath mat, per full bathroom. One hand towel is provided for each half bathroom. Sheets, pillowcases and quilts are provided for each bed in the property.

What we recommend you bring: Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hairdryer, napkins, condiments, spices, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, beach towels, umbrella, beach toys, sunscreen, and anything else you may need for your perfect vacation.

The primary guest booking is required to provide a copy of a government-issued photo ID, a selfie for identity verification, and a signed rental agreement. Renter must be 25 or older, present at check-in, and staying in the unit. No refunds for reservations made under false pretenses.

Sugar Beach

Our room was very small. The area rug was 20 years old and filthy. The guards are lazy and rude. No mail delivery and to get your mail you had to go to the guard shack and go through a years worth of other people’s mail. I don’t even think this is legal. The glass ware was minimal, only wine glasses and plastic cups. We don’t really like drinking out of plastic. We are adults. For a good point the appliances were all new. The location was good. The building was old and in disrepair. We did have a couple of maintenance issues and the maintenance man fixed them quickly and was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay! The condo was very clean. The only issue I had was that there was a random shoe and a beer can left on the balcony but overall we had a great time.

Filthy - spent the first day scrubbing

This property was insanely dirty. The ceiling fans had half an inch of dust that flew off when you turned them in. The showers had hair and toiletries that were left behind including a razor with pubes in it. Baseboards and the edge of the floor covered in thick grime and hair. The kitchen - ew. Every dish we attempted to use was absolutely disgusting. I ended up going out to buy paper plates and plastic ware. The facility itself was also nasty! Dirty pools, trash EVERYWHERE. They advertise the snack bar, which sounds great, but it is so insanely over priced and also gross. We paid $15 for 2 pina colada’s and they were basically slurpees with a SPLASH of rail rum. You can get a much nicer/cleaner place for the same price down the road closer to Gulf Shores.

Nice enough

The room was cute and the beds were very comfortable! That's what is most important! The ceilings were a bit low, like maybe 7 ft. That was a little awkward, but it was fine since it was just my son and myself.

I have stayed at Sugar Beach many times. I love the proximity to the beach, restaurants & shopping, as well as the family-friendly atmosphere. It has security, 3 pools, a food/drink bar, etc. that make staying enjoyable. I will be back!

Beach Getaway

The location was terrific for the beach and pool. Disappointed upon arrival parking pass not in room. Entry door knob came off, toaster smoking, burners on stove 30 degree angle so no flat surface to cook on, pans in horrible shape. Lighting from hallway came into bedroom and hard to sleep. Sliding glass door super hard to open. Unit was very clean.

Great Condo

We love this property--Sugar Beach is our favorite condo because of its proximity to the trailhead for the walking trail, its three pools, its wide beachfront property, and its concession stand. The only thing I did not like about this particular room was that the listing is for six people but provides comfy seating for only five, and the kitchen supplies were a bit sparse (like cutlery and some pans, like a pizza pan). Other than that, it was decorated nicely.
