"This was one of the most unique and amazing place my wife and I have stayed. My kids absolutely had a blast. The adventures around this property are a lot of fun at a reasonable price. Make sure to bring bug spray. "

"We loved the remoteness of it, and the friendliness of the lady who served us dinner and breakfast. This is not like a stay in the more touristy parts of Costa Rica like La Fortuna or Monteverde. This is off the beaten path.
Its not as close to the Rincon de la Vieja park as we originally thought (1h30 drive time on poor quality roads, in theory there was a straighter distance road but we didn't trust our rental AWD Rav4 would be able to get there)."

"The property was absolutely stunning! Beautifully built with an eye to the comfort of guests and respectful of the natural beauty upon which it was built. The owners and hosts, Roger and Rosie, are amongst the kindest and most hospitable people I have met on our travels. We only had two nights here but this place calls for a longer stay where you can enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the place. Next time! "

"A beautiful location on the slopes of Rincon de la Vieja, Borinquen Thermal Resort is a treat in the heart of the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. From the finely appointed rooms to the spacious, lush grounds, to the superb restaurants, this resort stay was one-of-a-kind. Staff was friendly, helpful, and good at their jobs.
