"Stayed for an extended weekend for a concert. Great location & easy to get out of the parking lot and turn left or right on to 29 with a red light. Lots of places to eat and shop within minutes. Hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating! Breakfast was good, especially the cheese omlet heated up in the microwave I didn't think it was going 2 taste that good at all, but I was delicious! Would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area!"

"The hotel is nice, the location is good. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. We did have one staff memeber at the desk who was just rude. She was dismissive , and was not happy about having her private phone calls interrupted. Aside from that it is a good place to stay. "

"Breakfast Buffet was good, hot and reasonably priced. Staff was very accommodating. The tall black night manager is an excellent person. He was very helpful and informative. Made us feel like valued customers. The pool was good, and I was glad to see it got closed at intervals for necessary maintenance to ensure we had clean, bacteria free water to swim in. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be staying there again! "

"I have stayed in several different hotels in the Charlottesville area, on my visits there over the past 3 years. This was my first stay at Clarion Pointe. I was pleasantly impressed with the whole experience. It had everything that other more expensive hotels offer, but the Clarion offered a very attractive price. "Location was convenient with a free shuttle to the small downtown area. Star taxi was amazing, on time and extremely friendly. However what made my stay great was the staff. I had problems with my room and they immediately put me in one that was much better. They did everything to accommodate my needs including offering an umbrella when it rained. "
