1) Clean Rooms No kidding—the rooms feel brand new! One feature I absolutely loved was having a washer and dryer right in the room. For anyone planning an extended stay, this is a huge convenience and makes traveling so much easier. 2) Staff The staff was absolutely magnificent! It's hard to know where to begin. • The housekeeping team was exceptional. You rarely saw them, yet everything was always spotless and perfectly maintained. The rooms were consistently well cared for. • Special recognition goes to Sheeay and Nandipha for their outstanding service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The management team also deserves credit for running a smooth operation while empowering their staff to handle day-to-day responsibilities with professionalism and confidence. 3) Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner OMG—you must experience the full breakfast! It was easily the best meal of the day. Every morning, it was prepared fresh and exactly the way you wanted it. A special shoutout to Arele at the kitchen and omelet station. The food quality and attention to detail were top-notch every day. The location is ideal. Perfectly located near the nightlife, Convention Centre, and Waterfront, yet quiet enough to provide a relaxing stay after a busy day.

The property is in the perfect location. It provided everything that one would need. The staff is exceptional in every way! Best breakfast ever. I will be returning!!

歴史的な建物を利用したクラシックなホテル。建物は古いが水回りは新しく、猫足の付きのバスタブは女性受けも良いと思います。小規模ならではのホスピタリティの高さもお勧めです。朝食のバラエティが少ないのが長期滞在にはやや問題かも知れませんが、ウォターフロントのホテルと合わせて利用するのも良いと思います。

Great hotel. Great location for CBD. Staff always wonderful, room was lovely and I got upgraded to a Mountain View which is awesome. The J Wellness spa on site is fantastic too.

J'ai été très heureux de mon choix de Hippo Boutique Hotel. Il est situé tout près de Kloof St, rue assez animée, mais un peu en retrait. La chambre était très spacieuse, bien équipée, impeccable. Le personnel était extrêmement aimable et serviable. Il n'y a pas de restaurant, mais pour déjeuner l'hôtel offre des coupons pour des cafés des environs, comme l'excellent Café Sofi en face. Il faut sonner et monter un étage pour arriver à la réception 24h. Au final, le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment excellent.
