Unparalleled views!

This villa is simply outstanding! The balcony was my favorite space. Breathtakingly beautiful view of the Caribbean. My first morning as I drank my coffee on the balcony, I was treated to a perfect, full rainbow. The lower level had a gorgeous pool and deck. Everything was clean, and the housekeeper was waiting to welcome us when we arrived. After coming home, just for fun, I was browsing on VRBO and honestly, nothing could compare!

Beautiful views - challenging house

We traveled to St. Lucia as two families (4 adults, 4 kids under 11) and loved the villa’s spacious layout and incredible views of Rodney Bay. The porch was a favorite spot, and the easy walk to the beach and Pigeon Island Park (which has great hikes and quiet beaches—10 entry for adults) made outings simple and fun.That said, there were several disappointments. The villa is difficult to access—an SUV is a must. Despite AC being clearly listed, the host removed the remotes without notice and insisted it wasn’t included. After days of back and forth (and support from Vrbo), we paid 200 extra just to use it. At this price point, that felt unfair.We also dealt with maintenance issues: the stove needed to be lit with matches, several lights were out—including the pool’s, which we were told creates a magical ambiance. Security was excessive and confusing, and one of the kids’ rooms is detached, requiring us to lock them out of the main house at night to follow the protocol.St. Lucia was beautiful and the house had potential, but we felt unwelcome and wouldn’t stay here again.

Amazing property

This villa is awesome, communication from host was excellent and informative. Place is huge and in a great location. Well stocked for kitchen items and very quiet. My only complaint is that there are a lot of shutters that have no screens so the mosquitos were rampant at night; even in dry season, and that the main bedrooms have no AC.We got bit a lot despite using the mosquito netting and closing the bedroom door. Didn't sleep well at all due to the heat and constant mosquitos.

Lovely honeymoon stay

My wife and I spent 1 full week at Zandoli for our honeymoon. This villa is enormous-definitely more space than we needed, but having the extra space & privacy was very nice. Checking in was very smooth-we arranged for a pickup from the airport using their driver (Eddie)-he's amazing and was a great resource for anyone visiting. We were greeted at the house by the housekeeper, Velda. She was lovely and gave us a full tour of the abode. For guests planning to visit, I would definitely encourage having a car-the villa is in a picturesque location, but it is difficult to get into/out of town & other major locations without a cab. Depending on how much travel you plan on doing, this can run up a bill fairly quickly. The whole house is fully open air, which is awesome. We had some nice birds we quickly became frinds with. FYI though that it can get toasty at night as there is no AC and depending on the time of year, the fans can be helpful but not enough to cool down everything. Lastly, Len (the owner) was amazing all the way through the trip. She was very quick to answer any questions and helped my wife and I enormously. The stay was amazing, the views are magnificent & we would 100% come back. Thank you so much!!

Amazing

Loved it! The views are amazing especially at dawn and dusk. We walked often into town from the back gate for dinner and drinks. (Torch required). Velda the housekeeper was lovely and blended in well to our holiday. Eddie the driver was fun and knowledgeable about the island and took us out a few times - especially to shop. The local people are super friendly. The villa suited us well with all double beds. The only downside which has nothing to do with the villa was the islands mozzies. We were pre-warned and brought lots of repellent which did help.

Wonderful Trip

We had a short but special stay at Zandoli Villa. The villa was perfect for 2 couples who needed it for a few days of peaceful relaxation prior to a destination wedding. Eddie was our driver and was always timely, kind, and fun. Velda was sweet and made sure we had all we needed. We had dinner delivered one evening using Baked by Yan, yum! The views and pool were perfection! Thanks for sharing your villa with us.

Peaceful

I enjoyed my stay. Although there wasn't any AC in the bedrooms, the sunsets, ocean breeze, views from the balcony made up for it. We had the most wonderful lady taking care of us during our stay, some people might call her a housekeeper but we considered her as our mother for 8 days. MUCH THANKS to Valda. I will definitely reserve this place again.

Great place to stay in Northern Saint Lucia

My family loved this house! It is in a great location for exploring the very fun Northern Saint Lucia area, and a great respite to come back to in the evening. Tons of space for hanging out and absolutely incredible views from the deck and pool area. Lots of different beaches nearby provide something for everyone whether you are looking for a busy fun area with plenty of bars and restaurants or an isolated beach with nobody nearby. I loved wandering around the property looking for interesting lighting for photos at different times of the day; I got some great shots of flowers, geckos, hermit crabs, many different birds, and some stunning sunsets. If you leave the bedroom doors open, don't forget to ruffle the bedding and mosquito nets to look for mosquitos BEFORE you get into bed and close the nets! I learned this the hard way! Thanks again to the owner for sharing this wonderful house.

Wonderful Stay

My family of 6 adults really enjoyed our stay at Zandoli. The housekeeper Velda gave us a big welcome, answered all our questions and was a delight to talk to. We started off each morning sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and taking in the amazing views. The pool was great. Loved the open air concept of the house. Recommend keeping bedroom doors shut during the day and using the mosquito netting at night to avoid any mosquitoes getting in. We saw very few. There's ceiling fans and standing fans in every bedroom and everyone was comfortable while sleeping. There's a security system with instructions for use and we felt very safe during our stay. We did walk to Pigeon Island from the property one day. Hiked to Signal Point and the views were amazing. Would definitely recommend Zandoli to family and friends.

Zandoli Review

This property is unique and not for everybody. Some will like it, and some will be uncomfortable. Pros: Nice view; Spacious; Nice, friendly housekeeper for check in; Host is professional and accommodating; Not a far drive to amenities of Rodney Bay. Cons: Hilly, dirt road to access the property, and treacherous driveway if you are in the main house (steep, windy, narrow, limited space to turn vehicles around—though not as bad if you are in the cottage). The house is open to the elements: there are no screens on the windows in common areas (there are screens in the bedrooms); openings in the roof/ceiling are by design, so birds, frogs, lizards, and mosquitos will inevitably find their way into the house. No A/C. Again, some will love the house and the open concept. Others will not be comfortable because the design allows for animals and mosquitos inside the property. If you want a spacious house open to the elements, in a secluded environment, with a nice view, this property is for you.

The view from the deck and pool are unmatched. The weather was incredible. Velda, Eddie and Andrew were awesome. Make sure that you get groceries before you go to the house. It is a bit remote and the walk to the beach is tricky.

A Heavenly view

Just what you dream of when coming to the Caribbean, wide open spaces, views from every corner. Caution no A/C but fans work well and a bit of a challenge to get to the house, then again it is at the top of a mountain. Wonderful housekeeper, very responsive host. Many thanks to you both.

Views with security

Wasn’t sure what to title it but staying here you forget that you’re right outside the city. The views are stunning. The space is amazing for an d tire family. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was open to the elements, which would have been awesome if there wasn’t so much trees. The misquotes ate my family 😆, but during the day the open concept was amazingly beautiful. We loved sitting on the landing and playing games and eating meals. The WiFi is great, but with AT&T the back room it can be a little weak. Didn’t matter cause if you’re back there it’s time to sleep. The showers are amazing and there’s a security system so that give us a real sense of security out there. Between the maid, taxi drive, and the host all questions were answered. We had little to no issues with anything. My only tip is ask for washcloths before the maid leaves. Enjoy the views…

This was one of the NICEST stays I've enjoyed ever. The villa was absolutely gorgeous, spacious, luxurious, and relaxing. We were originally nervous about not having air conditioning but it truly was not needed as the breeze from the ocean was enough to keep the house cool, not to mention that you can hear it from the bedrooms. The pool was gorgeous, the views were incredible, the property was well-maintained, our driver Eddy was amazing, the housekeeper Velda was so friendly, and Len was very helpful with setting everything up. Stay here if you have the chance!

Serene Stay with Breathtaking Views

This was a wonderful home that lived up to high expectations. The views were amazing and the house was up to date but complete with character and charm. Eddie, our intrepid driver, was always on time and informative and when he couldn't free up his schedule to drive us to a site, his nephew picked up the slack (I had been debating whether to rent a car and am thrilled with my decision not to. The right-side drive and the mountainous roads would have been extremely challenging). The wi-fi in the home was amazing. Best VRBO wi-fi I've ever experienced. The sounds of the birds and the ocean waves created an impressive vacation soundtrack to the lovely surroundings. As warned by the owner, the mosquito community also welcomed our arrival. WIth no central air, it was necessary to keep windows/doors open to create breezy and pleasant temperatures, but those conditions allowed early morning and evening mosquitos to enter. We quickly learned that heeding the owner's advice regarding the application of repellant was wise. The only criticisim, albeit incredibly minor, is that a few of the interior lights in the dining/living area didn't work which made nighttime reading a bit challenging. All in all, this was a wonderful property and an amazing experience.

Magical Villa

Everything about our trip to St Lucia was amazing from the time we first got in touch with Len, through VRBO, to our return flight home. Everything was exactly as presented, with no surprises. The open air villa and spectacular views were well worth the trip!

Almost Perfect Experience

This is a beautiful property and Len the owner of the property is wonderful and I would recommend anyone to stay here but there were some highs and lows from my experience. Transportation: I chose this property for it was on the northern side of the island I did not plan on spending so much money on taxis to get around even though the taxi driver Eddie is wonderful! Other taxis we used continuously complained about difficulties coming up the gravel road to the property. The road does have steep turns and hills but if you drive carefully you can make it. One taxis driver made us walk to the end of the road with all of our belongings! To Len I would suggest looking into getting the road paved that leads up to the property. For guests I would recommend preparing to walk to meet taxis or only utilizing Eddie. Conditions of the property: The property was very clean no complaints here. There were issues with the electricity, majority of the outlets did not work and the pool light outside did not work so it was difficult to swim at night. The house manager informed us that Len would be replacing the pool light. Len informed me that there were only two American outlets so I brought outlet converters but majority of the outlets did not work in the house so the six of us still had to share the two American outlets in the house. Please prepare to be HOT there is no central air. There are fans but no way enough to combat the heat. Again, Len informed me of this but I honestly thought it would be fine with the fans but no I’m glad we were gone majority of the day. At night it is a little better. I would definitely recommend central heating and air or fix the outlets so more fans can be put in all the rooms. Insects/Wildlife/MOSQUITOES: Ok again Len informed us beforehand BUT we were no way prepared. This is by far my worst experience with insects and wildlife. First there is a cat, we named him Felix. He found his way in house we had to ensure we closed every door behind us. Other guests must feed him that’s why he stays around, we did not. It got annoying trying to keep him away. The insects are all over so just keep your belongings off the floor. The Mosquitos is what made my experience miserable! Again I came prepared because I was informed beforehand but bug spray didn’t work! NOTHING WORKED! Len had supplies but majority was empty from previous guests usage. I had an allergic reaction to the mosquitos and still suffering almost a month later.

Beautiful villa with stunning Views! Len was always on top of everything and provided all the information we needed. The villa is huge, with private pool and unique Views to Pigeon Island. Rodney Bay is only 5 min drive when you can choose from any type of restaurant. Velda, the housekeeper, is so sweet and was very accomodating. If you are looking to experience the real St Lucia lifestyle, this is the place!

Location, location, location. This property is in a great location near Rodney Bay! The view is absolutely phenomenal. Further, Eddie (driver) and Velda (housekeeper) were amazing! I simply can't say enough about their hospitality throughout our stay. They were both incredibly responsive and helpful. That said, beware there's no AC; however, fans are in each of the bedrooms for circulation. I didn't mind but others in my group favored AC. All in all, it was good value for money.

Perfect getaway

Our group of 4 absolutely loved Villa Zandoli. The home is large, the landscaping is gorgeous, the kitchen is very well-equipped, and the pool is perfection! Due to timing (COVID), we spent almost the entire time at the Villa, and we didn't mind that one bit. We loved lounging, relaxing, swimming, playing dice, and cooking our own meals with the groceries we had delivered. Just like other guests, we cannot say enough about Velda. Velda was so wonderful to us, we felt like she was a part of our family by the time we left. She and Len will help you with anything you could possibly need. We had dinner at Matthew's a couple times and the food and service was fantastic. Highly recommended. The Villa has a detached apartment that we didn't use, but it's super cute! The laundry space is outside of the apartment, and it was SO nice to have a washing machine on-site! The two master suites have HUGE bathrooms with open-air showers that are just dreamy! We used drivers, as getting a rental car was not allowed. We loved having the drivers so we could sight-see to and from the airport. Lastly, the owner Len is lovely to work with. She is very responsive and helped us with every single thing we could've possibly needed or wanted. Thank you for everything Len, we hope to come back again soon!

Viva Zandoli!

I must admit my family and I were skeptical of the property when we first approached Bamboo Road. The ride was bumpy and seemed hazardous but once we reached the top that was all forgotten! Zandoli was beautiful! The open floor plan, the spacious suites, the crystal clear pool and the breathtaking views. Velda has the villa spotless. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and an awesome tour guide. Our host Len was always available and super responsive even though there was a six hour time difference between us. We will definitely visit over and over again and Zandoli will always be our choice! MARVELOUS ZANDOLI!!
