Located in a peaceful residential area but within a ten minute drive of various wonderful beaches, tourist locations, yacht marina, hotels, restaurants, bars and shops. Five minutes drive to exclusive Cabot Golf Club and walking distance to 18 hole championship Sandals Golf & Country Club.
Your own transport is an advantage, although there are very regular inexpensive buses passing up and down the main road (300yds away) throughout the day to carry you wherever you need to go. The now famous “Gros islet Music Friday night”is a few minutes away. It’s a street party must for at least one visit, where crowds of tourists and locals gather from early evening to eat BBQ food, drink, be merry and dance until the early hours. The Boardwalk marina is only a few more minutes away if you like a quieter evenings entertainment overlooking the yachts moored up, with an outdoor bar and a variety of inexpensive restaurants. And Rodney Bay (the main tourist area) is a further few minutes travel for extensive restaurant, club and bar facilities.
St Lucia welcomes "Jazz Festival" in May when some world renown jazz and other musical greats entertain in numerous locations across the island. The nights on Pigeon Island listening and dancing to these famous artists is just mind blowing. In July a few minutes journey takes you to Castries for Carnival. Eat, drink and watch as the gloriously decorated floats and people dance bye to accompanied music.
Another recommended must is a visit to the world heritage site of the "Pitons," volcanic mountains diving headlong into the Caribbean. A day's yacht trip gives you the best views. And on the way you get to swim and snorkel in the warm, clear Caribbean.
