"The member of staff at the reception desk when we arrived (and throughout our stay) was very helpfull. The room was very clean. We had a beautiful breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice of everything."

"Have stayed here several times over a number of years - staff are lovely, food tasty and rooms comfy… stayed in the main house for the first time and although the room was lovely, it was directly above the bar so there was some noise - maybe worth considering if wanting an early night! Otherwise a perfect stay x"

"Nick is such a lovely and helpful host and the place is beautiful, peaceful and has everything you need. Unfortunately it was raining all the time so we couldn't explore the area as much as we wanted to but that's UK weather for you. I'd happily go back to the cellars and would like to stay at the orangery too. "

"This was a lovely getaway in a cosy hotel with lovely staff. Everything very clean. Lovely dinner and breakfast."

"Staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was good for a freebie, with croissants, toast, beans, sausages and bacon all available alongside cereals and fruit. Only issue was with the water pressure, shower was. ABIT weak and toilet took a while for cistern to refill after flushing. Three minute walk from temple meads though meant it was very convenient for travel and 15-20min to centre and to Old Vic theatre. Would stay again."

"Great room! So comfortable and clean and very dog friendly for our special family member. We didn’t use the bar or the dining apart from breakfast which felt a little isolated although the staff who served us were busy and short staffed. The staff though were really great and very welcoming "
