Coffee grounds still in coffee maker. Water leak under right kitchen sink. Smart TV but couldn’t get any normal broadcast. Unsatisfactory. No parking in garage as listed. Walking distance to stadium: only if you want to hike three quarters of a mile. Contact person never returned a voicemail from one of us. Two half rolls of toilet paper only. Master bedroom had four pillow shams but no pillow. No pillow case available if I took a filler out. Broken drawer slide in master bedroom dresser. Very few utensils.
Knob missing to the utensil drawer. Very limited utensils. Not even a sharp knife. Some plastic utensils. Unsatisfactory.

Everything was very convenient. The house was plenty spacious. The only recommendation I could make besides updates to a few things would be faster better internet since there is only a fire stick to watch tv.

Misleading and unresponsive

Advertised with grill that was non operational and had planned family gathering to grill out. Informed property manager after arrival and again the next morning. No response until after I contacted VRBO customer service and our family gathering was already over. Garbage disposal doesn't work. Kitchen sink leaks under cabinet.. Only random kitchen utensils. Owners random signs and debris around. Not at all as advertised or expected.

If I could give this rental home and host a 0 star I would. The listing was for four queen beds and two twins. There were only three queen beds. When I contacted the host regarding the lack of promised beds, they immediately said you can leave right now for a refund or you can stay and someone can sleep on the couch. He said there aren’t many options in Greenville so you’ll have to make the best of it. When I said we need six separate beds, as this was one of the reasons we booked this specific house, they said “we don’t even want you there if it’s starting off this way.” I only contacted them hoping they could bring the mattresses over before the rest of our party arrived. I was hopeful it could be resolved. She was immediately raising her voice, extremely unprofessional, and rude. If the host can’t provide the accommodations listed, there is no need to try to blame the guest for asking for the promised accommodations. The listing also says there will be a BBQ grill. The grill onsite is unsanitary to the point no one would put their food on it and even if they would there is no propane tank. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with VRBO customer service trying to get the situation resolved. They refunded our service fee which doesn’t cover our costs to get air mattresses, pillows, linens, and a grill. Send up a hope and a prayer if you book this that the beds will actually be in the house as advertised.

Location overrode deficiencies

We stayed due to walking distance to ECU baseball stadium. House was advertised as being 'sparse' and that was very true. But a couple suggestions: sparse should still include at least one knife to cut food. There wasn't a single knife (other than eating utensils). The grill was advertised as a 'barbeque grill'. However, it was a gas grill with no tank. We couldn't fill it even if it was empty! On flip side, beds were comfortable and TV streaming worked well!

Very simple home

The house is a great space for a couple families and was very clean. The owner was great as well. The only thing to know before you go is there are no dishes no glasses no pots/pans and no silverware. So if you plan to eat there maybe bring that with you. Also it is right across from a very busy fire station. Again the house itself is great and very clean with a nice owner just extremely basic. So if you want it there then bring it.

Unique

Rented this house for our son’s ECU graduation. Location from school is awesome, however driveway is at very busy intersection and takes some maneuvering to get in and out. House was very clean and well taken care of. Loved the cast iron tub!! Uniquely decorated. Host was very easy and pleasant to communicate with. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone else to stay.
