Terrible Short Term Rental
I read previous reviews and they described the home as not being clean and I decided to take the chance as we were in Greensboro for the furniture market and would be spending very limited amounts of time in the home. I own 3 short term rentals so I may be very critical because I pride myself in keeping my homes in top shape. I would be very embarrassed to rent this home in the shape it is in. It seemed the hosts purchased an older well lived in home, decorated with used furniture, hung a few pictures on the wall called it good and put it on VRBO. There were broken drawers in the dresser, lamps that did not work, fans that did not work, leftover food in the fridge when we arrived, very few useable coffee cups, half a wine opener (we left one for the next guests), mold in the shower, water stains around the base of 2 toilets...it was dark so it could also be mold, stains on the carpet, only one hair dryer for 3 bathrooms, barley any hangars in the closets. Thankfully the sheets were clean and we had asked for extra towels prior to checking in. The host was very nice and responded quickly and I sent some of these concerns to her prior to checking out. I really do hope they take the time to make changes as this house should not be considered a "vacation" rental.
