The Blue Jay Apartment

Wake up to birdsong and look out any one of your nine windows. If it’s springtime, you’ll likely see twin fawns nibbling on saplings. Anytime of the year, you can take a swim in the heated pool and plan your day. Forget something? Check out the “I forgot” drawer in the bathroom stocked with useful supplies. This is a place of music, good company, and peaceful nature. When you visit, the pool is yours to enjoy privately.

The space
This is a large, attached apartment with two queen beds capable of sleeping 4 guests comfortably; a sitting area with two lounge chairs, coffee table, and a sofa; a walk-in closet with shelving and washer and dryer; a kitchenette with full-size refrigerator, hot plate, provided frying pan and provided sauce pot, and microwave; a full bathroom with shower; a private entrace and paved parking area. This apartment exists at the back of the larger portion of the occupied home and all windows face either the pool/opposing bedroom, or the dense woods. The apartment is accessible by a paver stone path from the parking space to the apartment. The apartment does not have an HVAC control system accessible to guests at this time. People with mobility issues are encouraged to check the path video after booking to carefully and determine its level of accessibility before beginning their stay at Blue Jay Room. This video is sent by the host through the messenger app. Flexible cancellation is available.

Guest access
You may use the apartment, its stone path, its parking space, and its interior amenities at all hours during your stay. The pool, pool deck, and fire pit are not available for use after 10PM and before 7AM.

Other things to note
Our dog Red Luna the Aussie Shepherd is very friendly and is excited to meet you. We also have some other wonderful pets you may enjoy meeting like Pumpkin the bearded dragon or French Fry the small ball python.

Please note, this home is located in the woods. If you are uncomfortable with the smells, sights, and sounds of nature, please choose a different place to stay.
