Off Duty offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large screened porch, front deck with bay views, and a large outdoor space for your enjoyment. Bring your fur babies along, because this home is pet friendly! Upon entering the home, you will find yourself in awe of the large open floor plan, boasting high ceilings and tons of waterfront views for your enjoyment. Downstairs you will find two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and deck, as well as a bedroom that has a full sized bed and a twin bunk bed. Upstairs is an additional bedroom with a queen bed and full bath, along with a sitting area looking over the downstairs living space. Don't feel like sitting inside? Go out to the large screened in porch and enjoy the sounds of nature, or sit downstairs under the home one afternoon and enjoy some fresh catch on the picnic table while enjoying a beverage at the tiki bar. Got a boat? No problem! Off duty has a boat lift and ladder at the dock! The Captain's Cove community offers 3 pools (2 outdoor & 1 indoor), tiki bar, Marina Club and restaurant, 9-hole golf course, kids playground, dog park and more! (with fee) And you're only 20 minutes from Chincoteague & Assateague Islands (the beach), and 30 minutes from Ocean City, MD (boardwalk & amusements).

- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- Linens and towels are included with your reservation.
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. Pet fee is $150 per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.
- Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. These reservations will be confirmed in January of the arrival year.
-Community amenities require passes for an additional fee.
- Additional community requirements: Each occupant must disclose their name. Vehicles must be registered; make and model of each vehicle is required. Incomplete or incorrect information will result in revocation of the use of community amenities and facilities.

Beautiful views and a spot for everyone

This house is great. The many decks off the front of the house have great views of the bay and the screened in porch out back offers a great place to sit out at night without worry of bugs. Every room has a smart tv so each kid had a room to watch their own shows. The loft is stuffed with books and games to keep us busy when it was time to shut the tvs. The house is very functional and well laid out. Perfect for our family of 5 and a puppy. Highly recommend.

Weekend getaway

We booked a 4 day trip over Memorial Day. House is cute, clean. Nice location. Quiet neighborhood. The air wasn’t working when we arrived. Took sometime to reach someone at the office who said someone would be out the next day. Made for a fairly uncomfortable humid night. We paid the pet fee to bring our 2 dogs which was great but they are English bulldogs and were unable to tolerate the humidity and no air so I had to drive the one home because he was overheating and sick- 4 hrs away. Owners were responsive the next day on the issue. HVAC was sent out next day and issue resolved by afternoon. Also Wi-Fi password on fridge was wrong so we had no internet access for 24 hrs. Things happen and I was content with the kids having zero Wi-Fi 😁 but the air really put a damper on the first 2 days of a 4 day stay. We were offered a nights refund. Overall nice house.

Family Vacation

Off Duty was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. There was plenty of space for everyone to do what they wanted- from napping to playing games to watching a show or movie. The large porch overlooking the calm waters of the canal was our favorite spot. And it was great to be able to bring our dog with us. We were 30 minutes from Chincoteague for hiking, biking, downtown and boating. Great time for all of us!
