Green Turtle Cay is a small laid back island in the Abaco chain, accessible by water taxi from Treasure Cay ferry dock . There are no traffic lights, no chain restaurants, and no crowds — just golf carts, open water, and some of the friendliest locals in the Bahamas. New Plymouth, a short golf cart ride away, is one of the most charming colonial settlements in the entire Caribbean. The island moves at its own pace, and after about 24 hours, so will you.
Getting Here: Fly into Marsh Harbor airport via Nassau or direct from select US cities. The water taxi to Green Turtle Cay runs regularly and takes approximately 20 minutes.
