"The Shorewood “Inn” is an old worn out Motel. Tiny box of a room with coils in the bed that squeak. AC unit was so loud. Air was stale and smelled. Nothing seemed clean. Wondered when was the last time the AC filter was changed. Bathroom and tiny shower can only be described as “icky”. Do not make your reservation here."

"Excellent hotel with a great location and exceptional staff. This is one of my go-to hotels on Long Island. The staff is always friendly, professional, and welcoming. The rooms are consistently clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the hotel is quiet for the most part, making it easy to relax. I also appreciate that parking is available and breakfast is included, which adds great value to the stay. Most importantly, I always feel safe here.
