"Room was great , staff very friendly and helpful bar was a little pricey Also didn't notice where I could have a evening meal , and ended up with a parking ticket which having needed to write my registration down for my stay I thinking the hotels had a parking deal for patrons "

"Easy admission and easy comings and goings"

"The hotel is in an excellent location with all the amenities and attractions within walking distance. The staff are friendly and efficient and we’re all willing to do that extra bit to make our stay worthwhile The hotel’s parking arrangements are excellent, especially for a hotel right in the city centre.The room itself was clean and spacious with everything you would expect. The food was excellent- nothing extraordinary - but very well cooked. "

"Just a one night away trip with a couple of days coastal walking. Very smart pub with rooms. In a superior room with high quality fixtures and fittings, very comfortable. Staff all very friendly with an excellent dinner menu and very good breakfast. Only minor issue was how quick dinner service was - would have preferred to have spent longer over our meal. Starter arrived very quickly and the main arrived before we had even finished our starter ! As I say however a minor issue in the overall...

"Really nice hotel with great staff in a really good location for walking into the main things to see, our only criticism of our room which was lovely was the lack of any kind of pressure from the shower"

"Lovely location - next to the train station but easily walkable into the city centre. Clean rooms, lovely staff. Parking can be a bit tricky if you get there later in the day. Would stay here again for sure!"

"Overall, a lovely stay. Two quibbles: 1. Having to pay for parking at £17 per night when you're already paying £200+ for a room 2. The shape of the sinks in the room don't lend themselves to anything in them going down the plug hole e.g. spit, toothpaste and shaving detritus."

"A delightful place to stay in a great location with lovely hosts. A short 10-15 minute walk and you're in middle of town with all the sights. Breakfast consists of lots of fresh homemade options that are top notch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with refreshments and amazing smelling toiletries. Would love to stay again. Look no further, this is the one you should book. "
