  • Luxury large cottage on lake. Private. Comes with sandy Beach boats. with municipal 4 bedroom, 2 living rooms, 3 full new washrooms. Sandy beach with shallow water. Kayaks, canoe, stand up board included must be put back in their rack. Great family getaway for summer. Gravenhurst has implemented licensing for rentals. We have received our license . 10 minutes away from Gravenhurst and 20 minutes to Bala. Furnace and wood stove and fire pit on a municipal road. This is a no smoking property inside and outside and no pets please. Eight people maximum, including children. Please be respectful to the property as this is our home, and there will be some things in the cupboards of our personal . If you smoke you need to go to the road.
    Two large living rooms and three full NEW washrooms and more. Sheets and towels not provided but pillows and comforters provided. Bring your swim suit and sand toys or snow shoes / cross country skis or tobaggan as the property is large, sandy beach and trails nearby. Summer Enjoy the sandy beach with sand bottom lake front and entry to the lake is shallow and flat to reach. Great for the kids. Playground too. Kayaks, sup, peddle boat and canoe included in season. IF USING you must return them them to the rack and lifejackets to the bin. Hiking three minutes away. Just bring the steaks for the new napoleon bbq. and enjoy lunch on the deck. This modern executive cottage and property is ideal for families, friends and nature lovers with well groomed lovely landscaping -8 acres and wetland adjacent to property, fire pit with chairs and sandy flat entry beach. Snowshoe, snowmobile, skate and winter carnivals all around. Privacy when at the beach and cottage. Kayak, canoe and board are included with rental. Sports in the area and on the large property. Bring linens and towels. The home/cottage features an open and spacious two living areas with one wood stove and furnace along with 4 bedrooms and 3 washrooms. The master suite is private away from the main living area and includes a living room and a 3 piece ensuite, ensuring privacy. There is a private balcony off the master and large deck for entertaining off the main living area. There is plenty of room to run ...the possibilities are endless. Fall colours and lots of hiking but still have Summer-canoe, kayak and board still available for your use on the property and included in the price. Gravenhurst is 10 minutes away; Bala is 20 minutes away--lots to do and don't forget the famous bakery.
    Please note: you must bring your own sheets and pillowcases and towels-I have lovely comforters and pillows. All brand new pillow top mattresses and clean modern facilities. No power boats or seadoos allowed.

Great views great dock lots of paddle boats and activities very mature and nice owner neighbors are close do not go with loud guests

Spacious and beautiful beach

The home is huge. Lots of room inside and outside. Great views of the lake from inside the house and on the large deck. Nice sandy beach with a floating dock and lily pad to swim to. Nice to see the family photos in the house to make you feel at home. Paula also very quick and clear to communicate with.

Super impressed

This property is breathtaking. The photos don’t even do justice compared to the beauty of this cottage. There was a few of us and I must say there was more than enough space for everybody. The private fenced off beach and the floating dock was the biggest hits for our stay. Will be back again and again

Large, lovely property and cottage

The cottage and grounds are beautiful. There is a large, broad lawn which contains a play structure and leads down to a small sandy beach and the lake, with a fence between them - perfect for the 2-, 4- and 6-year old children in our group. The cottage itself is beautifully laid out with ample bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of seven, a large dining room and comfortable spaces in which to gather. A few minor inconveniences: we would have liked to have had linens and towels provided by the host and some closet and drawer space available to us in the bedrooms and bathrooms.

Beautiful lakeside retreat

Stayed at this property in late july with my family. The cottage feels spacious with a lovely master bedroom and adjacent room which can provide a separate area within the bigger cottage. The property was clean and comfortable cottage finishings not ostentatious. There was a large well maintained lawn perfect for badminton/frisbee. The Beach had nice sand but the weed free area narrows as it goes out in the water which is fine as there is still plenty of space to enjoy the lake. Watercraft were available as in the listing and the lake was fairly quiet and peaceful. Property was enjoyed by the staying adults and children alike Our host was responsive to our questions and was informative on hiking locations, nearby events and fishing. We were glad we choose this property.

80th birthday weekend

The location is beautiful and quiet and the house is spacious and well laid out. The wood burning stove turned out to be essential and not just a cozy nice-to-have. Paula was very quick to respond when booking and was flexible with checkout which was wonderful. The only downside of the weekend were two regional power outages and realizing the cottage does not have a generator. This resulted in a loss of power for Saturday morning and evening meaning no ability to cook, shower or flush toilets. This also meant no heat aside from the wood burning stove and it was -30. We had my 80 year old mother and 6 year old grandson and a cottage without heat, or running water in the middle of winter is unpleasant. If you are going to rent this cottage be sure they have purchased a generator if you are there in winter.

You can’t imagine…

A property that truly cannot be truly appreciated from the photos! This large comfortable cottage has ample room both inside and out. There’s great access to water, and all the equipment you’ll need to enjoy what the lake has to offer. Paula is a warm and knowledge host, and the town of Gravenhurst is easily accessible giving you a nice balance of seclusion and amenities.

Wonderful week

Comfortable, large cottage with a terrific view of the lake. Use of canoe, kayak, paddle board, and floating dock was very much appreciated and kept us active. Exactly what we needed after a year locked up enduring the pandemic.

Spacious cottage with a great beach

We really enjoyed our stay at your cottage. The cottage itself was very spacious and comfortably accomodated our family of 8. The children loved the beach and everyone appreciated having access to the paddle board, kayak and canoe. Thank you Paula for your assistance in making our family holiday one to remember. .

Great property - highly recommend!!

This is a beautiful property with a fantastic view right on the water with a private beach, lots of yard space and a fire pit. The cottage itself was very clean, had all the basics, and spacious for our group of 7. Paula was a great host: very friendly and quick to respond to questions/provide information when needed. My only comment was that we didn’t have access to a BBQ and wish I could have stayed longer!

Amazing place

This amazingly beautiful place is worth a visit. It had everything you could ask for. A perfect getaway location. Paula made it very easy with her clear instructions on everything. Thanks a lot for making our weekend a wonderful one. Look forward to going back again!

Beautiful Location

The majority of the cottages on Pine Lake have trees that block their view but not this cottage it's wide open no obstructions just beauty at it's finest. Everyday we went swimming in the Lake a little cool but very clean. My Grandson was upset when he had to leave loved the sandy beach especially the water. Paula was very helpful when asking her questions about the cottage also what Gravenhurst has in the way of stores. We have been renting cottages for a long time but this one was special. Sobey's is about 10 minutes away, along with other stores. We had a great week no problems what so ever.

Amazing property, beautiful location

Best cottage we have ever rented, very well equipped, ample rooms and areas to enjoy family time. Paula was extremely helpful and accessible, gave us recommendations for restaurants, places to go, things to do, etc. will definitely love to go back!!!
