This charming hideaway, is tucked on the banks of the peaceful Casselman River, which is large enough to create a small roaring sound that can be enjoyed from the deck, creating the most tranquil setting!
Outside on the deck you will also find the sunken hot tub, perfect for unwinding for the evening, or our favorite is to enjoy the bliss of early morning, bird songs, in addition to the sounds of the river.
the barrel sauna down by the river is a rich experience, with the smell of cedar, and the views of the river.

On entering the house, you will be met with a cozy kitchen side, with full kitchen, plenty of room for multiple people to cook comfortably!
Large double door, French style refrigerator, with a filtered water dispenser, this will be found inside the refrigerator on the left side wall. Not as obviously visible as a lot of refrigerators.

Coffee station features:
A Breville espresso machine.
A Keurig coffee maker with k-cup and slow drip option.

Don’t forget to bring your favorite dairy products, for lattes as well as maple syrup or your preferred sweetener.
We do provide some K-cups, and espresso beans.
Feel free to reach out for instructions on using the espresso machine if needed!

Moving on down the hallway, is the small farm table with extra seating, for dining as well as computer, or work from home needs!

Next you will enter the great room, which is by far a favorite spot in the house for us!
A large oval dining room, with seating for 8 comfortably, or add the 4 chairs if you want from the other smaller table!

The large 5 peice curved Crate and Barrel sectional with a Loloi wool rug makes the great room absolutely luxurious to walk in to!
Not to mention the massive river rock fireplace gracing the entirety of one large wall!
Enjoy movie nights with the entire family in front of the 75” TV, or good conversation in front of the propane fireplace!

A cozy corner sofa looks out over the deck through large windows, or just spend time with family while being in different sections of the great room, with multiple seating, perfect for cozying up with your favorite book.
The great room is dreamy all times of the day, and really bright and sunny in the afternoon, with all the large windows!

The house has 4 bedrooms with an additional living room with built in custom bunks, and a kids hangout spot, with tv and games.

Every bedroom has super comfortable hybrid memory foam mattresses, (even the bunks, making them super comfortable for adults too)
Luxury bedding and pillows.
Noise machines, as well as electrical box connectors with usb ports, are provided in each bedroom.
No more digging behind furniture in search of an outlet.

The bedrooms are not huge but they have most of what you should need to have a great nights rest!

We hope you enjoy seeing what we did with this charming older home, it was challenging working with the quirky nature and character of this house, and we spent hours making sure we picked the right pieces for the correct spaces!

We love feedback, as our number one desire is to make sure you are able to leave feeling inspired and rejuvenated!

If you are bringing any furry friends, we do charge a $150 pet fee, per pet

The entire house and surrounding yard, is yours entirely!
Minus a few spaces we needed for supplies.
These will be inaccessible and are typically locked.

We are available for any questions you might have, or should you have any issues at all during your stay, we can come take care of it!

The neighborhood is a quiet area, with options for food and groceries only a short 5-10 minutes away.

The Casselman River Hideaway is located at the end of a semi shared driveway, please be aware that you might see our neighbors when coming and going!
We appreciate them as good neighbors, and our goal is to respect them as our valued neighbors!

You can expect to be asked to confirm your guest number as well as if you are bringing pets. We do charge a pet fee ($150 per pet)

With us not allowing parties here, we also do not condone excessive alcohol consumption.
Do not reserve for sorority groups, bachelor, bachelorette groups without host communication.

This listing is for your guest number only, do not exceed 12 person maximum.

If you do have an approved gathering where there are unregistered guests involved, there is also a charge of $35 a person for all guests coming to the property.

Note:
We allow pets, if your pet is less than 20 pounds unless they are a non shedding breed.
We do charge a pet fee of $150 per pet.

Pet rules apply and will be included in the house check in information.
Feel free to ask to see them prior to booking the property.


Please close and lock any windows you have opened.
Never leave the property without making sure all windows have been shut and locked.

Hot tub must be covered and strapped after each use, or it is likely to blow open and will not be able to heat to desired temperature.
