The space
The Old Telephone Exchange, a unique and charming retreat nestled in the picturesque village of Cartmel. This cozy cottage boasts a range of amenities and distinctive features that will make your stay truly memorable.

A spiral staircase leads you to the first floor, where you'll discover two charming bedrooms. Bedroom 1 features twin beds, while Bedroom 2 offers a cozy double bed. You'll be kept warm and comfortable throughout your stay thanks to gas central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience, and Wi-Fi ensures you stay connected during your visit. One well behaved dog welcome, however we kindly ask that your dog is kept off the beds and furnishings. Please also ensure that you clean up after your dog if you allow them to foul outside the property. Please bring your own bedding and towels for your dog.

The property is set up to allow remote access with easy self check-in meaning that no direct contact with anyone is needed.

. We also supply individual toiletries for guests (shampoo, body wash and soap) and 2 toilet rolls which usually lasts 2 days.

Peaceful spot

Very nice property with everything we needed. It was clean and inviting. The only thing I would have changed is the narrow staircase. Other than that we also loved the quiet, peaceful location with a beautiful view.
